Just wondering, because weapon levels are out, it means every gun is effective?
I just picked it up for £15 cause it was on offer, haven't read any of the changes since borderlands 1
Yeah, weapon specialization and stuff has been removed. You can just use anything without any intrinsic bonuses now.
Actually, some characters do have perks that can increase the effectiveness of certain guns, but it doesn't affect other weapons negatively. Also, rocket launchers are actually useful.
Yeah, I remember never using launchers in bl1
They made launchers nice in bl2, but they made them crippled and useless again by making their ammo 1288239746527435 dollars per rocket.

Eh, you just pull it out on bosses anyway so it's not a big deal. Using one all the time would be a bit overkill.

Fuck damn, the Fleshstick bug was helpful.
Good, maybe people will actually play the game now instead of ~farming~

The Bee is really shitty now, funny how they nerfed it and increased the health of bosses but they still drop the same shitty predictable loot.
are existing bees affected or just new drops?
are existing bees affected or just new drops?
Yes...
Tediore reload nerfed, it's a sad day
Yeah, just tried soloing terra and I couldn't do it :(
Amplify damage from Amplify Shields is now divided among all projectiles fired from a single shot.
Should have bolded that. That is the biggest change.
Good, maybe people will actually play the game now instead of ~farming~
Y'know, ignoring that farming was pretty much intended by the devs considering that it's the most efficient way to get any legendary
oh and uh
they outright said that farming was intended before the game was shipped.
that's not the point i was making. The point i'm making is, why would you spend hours or even days to get A legendary. That's just... not fun. And spending a couple minutes in a save editor can net you the same item, but stats for your level.
To me, successfully crafting a weapon or item is more gratifying than farming for hours for it.
Good, maybe people will actually play the game now instead of ~farming~
I can still solo the Warrior really easily-- it'll just take more than 3 seconds/kill
Good, maybe people will actually play the game now instead of ~farming~
how else are you supposed to get legendaries? kill the boss once a week?
what else are you supposed to do as a level 50, anyway? You have NOTHING ELSE TO DO.

yes what :v:

If you're asking if anything is stopping you from sniping effectively as Gunzerker or elementaling efficiently with an Assassin, no, there's not a lot of skills oriented toward certain breed of guns. At most, Zer0 has a tree dedicated to sharpsooting and sniper rifles and Axton gets slight bonuses for using assault rifles and explosives via his skill trees.

Certain weapons are much more effective on each class though; especially the zerker. You can't scope while zerking, so you can't snipe or use Dahl's burst mechanic. This doesn't stop you from using a sniper while zerking though, because I do.
As soon as I get a good bee and baby maker theyre both nerfed. awesome.
I think they went overboard with the tediore nerf.. They should have focused on fixing the annoying collision with thrown guns first, sometime it just bumps against an tiny, tiny barrier because the collision of the thrown gun is so big.
I'm okay with the bee nerf, I can't solo terramorphous anymore but whatever, to me the game isn't about trying to solo unfair bosses with unfair items.
did they update the lightning on last patch? i noticed a extra bloom on things that glow
