Just bought this a few days ago, though I'm gonna wait to play it until I get someone to coop with.
Can someone give me a basic outline on each of Salvador's skill trees?
Have you looked at Ellie from the side before? It's like a fucking 18 wheeler with a head attached to the back
Can someone give me a basic outline on each of Salvador's skill trees?
Leftmost tree is the damage/pistol tree. Money shot can give stupidly high damage to jakobs quad barrels (up to 800% extra damage to last bullet in clip w/the right mod). Middle tree is all about gunzerking all day err' day. Also it boosts clip/ammo capacity and has two abilities directly influence the usage of ammo. Inconcievable (up to 50% chance to not use ammo) + 5 shots or 6 (5% chance per skill level of instead of taking ammo from the clip, adding ammo to it. Activates after killing an enemy) at low health is utter insanity. Firing a jakobs shotgun w/a clip of 2 20 times in a row is as hilarious as it sounds. The last ability of the tree, keep firing, is absolutely gamebreaking if you manage to get two vladof infinities. Throw in a bee and you're curbstomping every enemy in the game with a wall of boolet. Right tree is survivability and mobility (lots of health regen, last ability gives you nigh invulnerability for a short time). I haven't specced in it much but it would probably be the best tree for solo speedzerking. So generally speaking, you want to focus on two trees, and always include the middle tree.
Money shot + 5 shots or 6 + Inconceivable! + Lucky War Dog class mod (adds to 5 shots or 6 and Inconceivable) + assault rifle = a whole lot of popping
I was underleveled for some bigger bosses as Salvador, so this was my strategy- Step 1: Inconceivable Step 2: Jakobs Shotgun Step 3: Pray
Gunzerker can lift his HP to little over 110k with as many health boosting items as possible, like Health Relic +42% HP, Evolution shield, 5 points in Hard To Kill and a health boosting mod. 5 points in I'm The Juggernaut and another 5 equals 40% less damage from all sources. This is a killer combo since your huge health pool can suck up bullets like sponge does water, and even more with the damage reduction. I've played with this, and it makes me nigh invulnerable.

He's INCREDIBLY EASY but my friend and I always end up making a mistake when he's at 1/4th of his health left.

'Zerker can 8% of the total.
But how much of that health can you recover per second? Probably around 7.5%ish
Does anyone have any tips on Master Gee? Me and my brother finally killed Hyperius when I got a Baby Maker and a Bee, and that took a long time. And I had to use the Slayer of Terramorphous, and rearrange my skill points to something I'm not really comfy about, just to kill him. But Gee is strategy-centric, so I need a good strategy against him. Him and me are Mechromancer and Gunzerker respectively, is that is relevant.
I had to have a healing siren in the group to do it but it might be possible without.

The main strategy is killing worms and lure Gee into acid pool, which stays after worms. Let Gee sponge all the acid and take him to another one. His attacks are RL which shoots a very slow moving harpoons and lightspeed tomahawk throw. The less hp Gee has - the more damage tomahawk do.

With the acid, is hard to use the Bee, so which weapon is good for killing them? I'm thinking in Good Touch and the Slagga. Because the Good Touch is better than the hellfire, right? It restores health, after all.
He has a VERY good resistance to any damage.
Better get yourself a good Anshin shield\Neogenator\Evolution. 90% of damage you do to him comes from acid pools. I agree, this will take time, but dude, this the toughest boss in BL2 right now.
I mean to kill the worms. Which weapon is recommendable? Why no one understands what I mean =(
I mean to kill the worms. Which weapon is recommendable? Why no one understands what I mean =(
Because (no offense) your English isn't very precise. Although Hammer seems to think you're only talking about Gee (which your first post on the subject was very vague and it did seem like it), after that it was obvious you were talking about the worms.
Raiding pyro pete right now if anyone wants to join
Raiding pyro pete right now if anyone wants to join
I'll join you.
I mean to kill the worms. Which weapon is recommendable? Why no one understands what I mean =(
Well, sorry for misunderstanding. Worms are fleshy - use fire.
I'll join you.
Thanks, that was easier than I thought it'd be.
For anyone concerned why the Cobra hasn't been found yet.
There is no Sniper Rifle in this Dojo! Speaking from the design room - The Cobra drops perhaps slightly less frequently than we intended. It's a complex game with lots of guns and gear and stuff, and getting all the fiddily little dials just right is a constant battle. So I will do what we normally don't do, which is straight up tell you where the Cobra lives. Normally, you see, we enjoy the exploration and discovery, but in this case, it's taking more exploration than we'd like. The Cobra is dropped by... The Burners! Not one of the bosses. Just the regular guys. Any sniper rifle dropped by The Burners has a .88% chance to be Tiny Tina's Cobra. Perhaps at some point in the future we will revisit these odds in a patch. I make no promises.
http://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?p=3272059#post3272059
0.88%. Thats an awful drop rate.
And it's only .88% of the snipers which makes it even worse.
torgue's final boss is a fucking awesome boss
It's awesome because it's essentially a fucking Megaman boss.
Gunzerker is greatfor soloing Raid bosses. Some of them, at least. Mainly Terramorphous and Pyro Pete. Why? Because he can recover health faster than it's inflicted upon him, his health recovery abilities exceeds the volume of hurt coming his way.

I've persuaded a load of friends to go see the Heavy (the band who plays the intro/credits music) in March; well excited. :D
