Not to sound like an ass or anything honestly, but you know this for a fact?
That was pretty much what me and my friends did, kill one worm, make him walk over the acid until it's gone and repeat.
I've only killed Gee once, and that was through gratuitous abuse of glitches, a moxxi weapon, and singularity grenades. Basically, get any vladof launcher, max moxxi's heart breaker (or good touch), and the evil smasher. Using the vladof and evil smasher glitches, you now have a shotgun that fires faster than a vladof AR and with infinite ammo, and it heals you. Use the singularity grenades to get his shield to run out, then just keep shooting him until you win. Having more health also certainly helps so his tomahawks won't instadown you once he gets low on health. That being said, it's still an incredibly long and boring fight not worth your time.

I honestly have no desire to play this game anymore. With both DLCs, I didn't find a single thing that I would actually wanna keep.

Even though this is Borderlands were talking about, it's not always about the loot.

Nothing actually needs effort to complete, it's all become "go here kill that take that come back", and I just can't play it anymore.
Man, I wish the shredifier was easier to get. IIRC, it doesn't have an increased chance to drop from anyone, right? That usually makes anything replayable.
Not to sound like an ass or anything honestly, but you know this for a fact?
It's the ONLY way to kill him because he's near invincible. The amount of damage you'll be doing (when his shields are gone) is so negligible that you might as well have not been shooting at all. The only way to kill him is to lure him over acid pools (after killing worms) and let him absorb that acid til he gets the debuff. The more stacks of that debuff the more damage over time is inflicted. He's not worth the time if I haven't already mentioned that. He drops nothing worthwhile and he takes WAY too long to kill.
I honestly have no desire to play this game anymore. With both DLCs, I didn't find a single thing that I would actually wanna keep.
Have you played with other characters yet?
The only thing worth buying with seraph crystals is the "Evolution" shield which is a buffed version of the Neogenetor shield.
My Neogenetor is actually better then the Evolution shield I bought, a lot better. Not sure if Evolution have more regen effect then the Neo does, but I get a lot more health and resist using the Neo then Evolution.

What happened? I cant fight any raid bosses from DLCs for almost 2 days [t]http://i.imgur.com/wr1bN.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/p1aFP.jpg[/t] We killed Pete 2 days ago and since then, the game keeps telling us that one of us killed the boss today. Has anyone encountered this problem?
Show us his stats.
I'll take a screenshot when I get the chance.

Huh... I guess the evolution trades a higher shield cap compared to more hp/higher elemental resist. Thing is the neogenator's shield is so low that it kinda negates the purpose of it.

I was really optimistic after beating the base game because I thought it just needed to some good DLC to fix a few things and make it perfect, but just adding extra campaigns that add nothing to the game isn't cutting it for me.

DLC isn't really going to add much except add a new campaign/loot/new enemies.
Can anyone help me identify this gun? Its fucking sexy. [t]http://i.imgur.com/38iNR.jpg[/t]
http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Logan's_Gun
Thanks :v:
Well that's lovely. I killed Pete on my Axton last night and now I can't fight ANY raid boss that has a lockout. Just tried Hyperius and it said 1 or more players has defeated the raid boss recently (I know for a fact my friend didn't cause she hasn't played BL2 in over a week) and I haven't even touched the first DLC within the first week of its release.
I just finished up the main story of Borderlands 2 and I'm convinced that the drops in this are terrible in comparison to what you could find in the first game. During my playthrough I rarely encountered anything overly good. The best gear I found was in the Golden Chest, and I opened that too early and the gear I got from it quit being good pretty quickly. I still had a lot of fun, but seriously, I played half the game with a dinky e-tech SMG because it was the only good weapon I had. [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] I guess I shouldn't have picked Zer0 as my first character, but speccing into Sniper is like mega rapetrain mode and it's glorious.
That's exactly what BL1 did... DLC isn't really going to add much except add a new campaign/loot/new enemies.
BL1 might have done it, but I think it's time to step up the game.
Drops are shit in both games, the only good loot comes from quests, and occasionally gambling and gun stores
I beg to differ. Throughout the majority of the first game I was never faced with a situation where I couldn't kill an enemy that was the same level as me because of underwhelming firepower. I faced this problem a lot in Borderlands 2 until I got like 4 quests away from the end of the story.
Drops are shit in both games, the only good loot comes from quests, and occasionally gambling and gun stores
Best loot in one came from chests. Mostly because of all the really boring but incredibly practical legendaries like the defiler.
This was a great/horrible idea. [t]http://i.imgur.com/rruNs.jpg[/t] Bottom right says "To Mordecai" because it would seem fitting.
Holy fuck, that girl.
Holy fuck, that girl.
Jessica Nigri? We all know she's smoking hot.
Jessica Nigri?
