iirc the game freaks out if it thinks you have 4 people and then another joins...
Does having 4 people make vermi more likely to spawn?

It just won't let them join.
So I downloaded an update just now on Xbox, the supposed 1.2.2 one, yet my points arent back, and Gee is still lvl 52 in Pt 1.

Well i hope you have better luck than me, a majority of the time i open the golden chest i get shit loot or good loot for characters i don't even play.

Tough luck, I have all the characters at 50 so NONE of the contents go to waste.
Would it just be better to save the keys until I reached level 50?

The keys are next to worthless if you don't wait till level 50 to use them. Pre level 50 golden chest weapons are shit.

except there's nothing to do after level 50, it's better to use them when you're actually playing the game instead of after you've finished it
unless you're one of those people who goes LOOK AT HOW RARE MY LOOT IS and centers their entire playstyle over how much rare loot they can get
