The only way to really do damage to them was with vehicle missles.
On foot, the most effecient way to do damage to them is by shooting their assorted weak spots.
Since they're so tall you could only see the ones on their underside, and only when you were right underneath them.
And with legs like that, being underneath them is a bad place to be.

Since you could lock on to enemies in BL1, it was annoying when locking on to them didn't work. They'd just bounce up and down and dodge your missiles. It was like "wait, I have to actually aim at these guys?!?!"
Aaaaand my save dissapeared. Oh well, I tried gunzerker and it is so much funnier than zer0.

He's LOTTA fun with a right Bloodshed build and melee equipment, but gets boresome pretty quick.
Gunzerker has LOTS of variation in matching different two-gun tactics with each other.

They weren't designed to be fought on foot. They were put in areas where you were either in a vehicle, or close enough to a Catch-A-Ride
If you own Borderlands 2 on PS3, then I have a code that will give you the Torgue dlc.
I own Borderlands 2 on PC, so it does me no good.

Just forced myself to go back and beat the game after stopping right before the final level. I'm pretty happy with the final level + boss, though I didn't really feel like I got closure on the characters.

Final Boss was a joke.
Me and my three friends had more trouble with a goddamn Super Badass Corrosive Skag.
He wasn't that hard, but I just thought it was a really cool fight [sp]+ finally confronting Handsome Jack. Although I wish I got to see him suffer some more.[/sp]
I needed more money for the slot machines as a level 15.
I joined my level 50 friend and looted containers hoping nobody would shoot me. I got around 30k before I disconnected as they opened fire and almost oneshotted me.
Wasn't aware other players could do damage to you outside of duels.
