I'm just bad as Salv, same for Brick.
And sniping is too boring.
I have more fun in teamwork. Never liked being a lone killing machine.
I really dont have the attention spawn of firing 2 guns at once.
I'm not entirely disagreeing here, but there isn't anything to do beside farming once you're done questing.
I may be generalising based on my own experience here, but side quests are much less engaging once I know I won't get any XP from them.
I haven't finished everything yet. And I agree with you on the side quests, I'm leaving most until the level cap is raised.
I really dont have the attention spawn of firing 2 guns at once.
Press both your triggers/mousebuttons down and don't let go.
Aim at general direction of enemy.
Close in if DPS not big enough.
Repeat until everyone is dead.
So Basically like you're playing Doom or Doom 2.
Anyone got an extra level 50 Hellfire? My firehawk quest glitched up and I can't get to the part that makes Scorch spawn.
OK, I just installed BL2 I got free with my video card, would it be better to play the first one first or what
OK, I just installed BL2 I got free with my video card, would it be better to play the first one first or what
Not really, even for story's sake. Unless you really want the skin and face you get for having a BL1 saved game
Could someone please explain to me how playthrough 2.5 works?
Could someone please explain to me how playthrough 2.5 works?
You beat the story twice. Once you killed Warrior\Destroyer on second playthrough - all enemies scale to your level.
Could someone please explain to me how playthrough 2.5 works?
Finish the last main story quest mission on playthrough 2, everything scales to level 50 (including sidequests you haven't accepted yet, and rewards).

Sidequests and their rewards do not upscale to your level. I confirmed this by gaining Playthrough 2.5, accepting the mission where you determine who murdered the guy for the sheriff in Sanctuary, and got an under-leveled gun.

Yes they do. I can confirm this because I did that same mission and got a lv 50 law.

Wrong, I've just finished that quest, got the gun.

it goes by when
you exsept them
I had finished a playthrough in the first game as Roland and Mordecai
I started them for Lilith and Brick, but never finished it because after sinking almost 200 hours into it, I got bored
As a related note, I killed Geary and got Maya's head customization, not Axton's head customization like I wanted
jesus christ pyro pete is a fucking cunt.
It doesn't help that only one of my team mates were fucking useful. We were using high fire rate weapons with the bee, one of the other guys was using a fucking torpedo gun and the bee, and the other guy kept blowing himself up with his sentry because he had the nuke perk, but not the longbow perk.
Soooo if that whole team thing ever happens posted about on the last page, I'd be up for it. Poured hundreds of hours into both games (mostly the first), and I'm always happy for an opportunity to play them.
My best is Roland/Axton, have played them literally every time I've done a runthrough, and I love supporting my team mates.

Just go kill him again then, what's the problem?

Axton imo isn't too much of a supporter. Maya does that a lot better.

The ability for your teammates to regenerate health when they're by the scorpio turret in 1 sounds support to me

That's Roland. Axton has the Sabre turret, and none of his perks do that.

What about the shield for the Sabre turret then?
What about the shield for the Sabre turret then?
That's the one actively team benefitting skill, really.
Axton's turret cannot help him passively, it can only get upgrades that benefit the turret itself and nothing else.
Axton does get a skill that lets him revocer health when he has shields full as well as increasing shield capacity and a skill that makes him recover health by firing at enemies.

Axton does have that one skill that makes him shoot faster or something when the turret's out

Doesn't most the the middle (blue) skilltree focus on upgrades for axton himself?
If you don't go full Guerrilla you are doing it wrong.
Axton does have that one skill that makes him shoot faster or something when the turret's out
Oh, and that too.
Anyone else here miss Torgue snipers from borderlands 1? They were incredible.
If you don't go full Guerrilla you are doing it wrong.
Grit.
If you're planning on being a support character, Maya's probably the best choice.
The Res perk is so damn useful, I can't even play Maya without it.
The best part is, you get it relatively early.

Pyro Pete is easy though...

Probably the best skill in the bottom half of that tree, to be honest. I always saw Survival as more of a subtree for Guerrilla or the other one that isn't Guerrilla.

And you can get Sweet Release to reach it, arguably the best survival skill in the game. The fact that you can offspec and still get Rez means that if you are playing multiplayer there really is no excuse not to run it.
