I'm gonna have to revisit this dlc later. I'm level 35 and while I thought I had some good gear, I find I do too little damage, and take too much.
what is the max level now? or they didnt increased it?
Oh yeah, and the new invincible stalker raid gearbox kept talking about? It's basically a rabid stalker that one shots you, in a tiny arena, there's a bunch of midgets you can kill to get a second wind, but then he kills you again instantly, so doesn't matter.

They're not increasing it until way later in one of the other DLCs.
Okay, I just finished it, I can't say I can recommend it, it was very disappointing and short, the fanboat is a clunky, slow, bad handling piece of crap, the drifters are braindead compared to bl1 (they can't hop, for example), if you thought the pirate DLC had too many invisible walls, oh boy..and the bosses are pathetic, especially considering the only boss is the last boss.
The only thing I like about it is the chattering between the npcs in this dlc, and how the terrain reminds me of ned's zombie island (sadly, it also suffers from being messy to navigate), everything else is just.. garbage, it's incredibly short, the story quest is literally 4 quests, I'm not exagerating. [sp] play; the last boss' death is very funny, but it doesn't redeem any of it). [/sp]
I'm gonna make sure to do all the sidequests, but the retarded terrain with spires everywhere and the horrible invisible walls everywhere might just turn me off completely.
First time a borderlands disappointed me, honestly I would not recommend it.
They said there were only 5 story quests. To make up for the time you need to do the side quests. That being said, whether you recommend it or not doesn't really matter to season pass holders that have all of the dlc anyways :v: (or rather 4 DLC for the price of 3, you can consider this one as a free dlc if you'd like)

Didn't they say they're gonna release it as a free update?
I just hope they take more time over the next DLC, and really fill it with new content. I don't mind waiting until June if it's going to be on par with General Knoxx's Armoury or even better.

Swap out rabid stalker for a different enemy and you have every other raid boss.

I don't get what their obsession with bosses is. Did they just watch people play D2, and think, "People farmed bosses, therefore killing bosses must be fun?" I hate to be a negative Nancy, but I was so optimistic after beating BL2, and thought it just needed a few changes here and there to be perfect, but all these mind-boggling design decisions in the DLCs are just killing me.
Just completed the dlc with my friend and all I can say is that it is short as shit. Even doing all the sidequests (except for the 'kill x number of randomly spawning monsters' quest) it's still fucking short. Funny at times but not worth the money.
Well, I think it's the weakest DLC right now.
Captain Scarlett beats it by loot and Torgue beats it by story.
And enemies breaking balance in PT2.5 in the worst possible way.
Each fight with shaman is like fight with Warrior. Shielded badasses are also like mini-bosses.

Agreed, I think they're trying to focus too much on "look guys, boring raid boss to farm!" and not enough on anything else in the dlc (so far, while I only actually got disappointed in the hammerlock hunt, the BL1 dlcs were better than BL2 on a general level, even moxxi's arena, as repetitive / lackluster as it was, introduced something new to the table, and gave the much awaited bank slots).
they keep adding bosses because the seraph items system
the area in this dlc is great but so far quest rewards seem a bit shitty, the pirate one was great for quest rewards as almost every quest had a weapon with flavor text
they keep adding bosses because the seraph items system
Which brings me to another problem: Having each legendary drop from a specific enemy was unsatisfying enough, but loot currency is even worse.
Guide showing where to get all the new uniques in DLC3:

My word, The damage on that elephant gun is incredible, I might need to get one for zer0.
Fuck the final boss of the new DLC. I can't kill it, and now I have to wait for my friend to help me since I didn't spend 50 hours farming overpowered combo guns.
Is Rex broken? Says fires as fast as you can pull the trigger but it has a slow-as-fuck fire rate like Jakobs revolvers in Borderlands 1.
Also Witch Doctors are really fun to fight. Unless they're shock elemental. Or chupacabra variants. Or more than one at a time. Then it's the worst experience I've ever had in this game.
Also Witch Doctors are really fun to fight.
Fun fact, the Witch Doctors have immunity to Phaselock so it only affects them for a second at the most before they break out of it. Such fun!

Yeah, I've been playing with my siren and they are the only thing that even give me the slightest bit of trouble since they can't be locked for very long. Lascaux + smg mod + smg relic and I just tear through everything else.
Jesus Christ, when the fuck are they going to raise the level cap? These guys in the new DLC are tearing me a new asshole since they're higher than lvl 50.
Do unique items scale to your level? Like if you do a quest for a unique item at a higher level than the quest is for, will it scale? Also, will things like Maggie scale if you are a way higher level than Mick Zaford when you kill him and he drops it?
Was I the only one that found the DLC extremely easy? I see people bitching about the witch doctors when I would steam roll them easily and yes this was on TVHM.

They're so fucking obnoxious. They have a decent amount of health and can heal and turn invincible whenever they want.

Personally I didn't have any trouble with them with my Siren, but I admit that my char is fully kitted about with the best equipment, so I can see those people who are less willing to grind/edit saves for loot might find it more difficult.

I can't play it for shit as the sniper build at the moment.
1. Most of the tribals I've come across wear masks so I can't headshot them as they charge me.
2. I can't chip damage with criticals because the shamans will heal them all.
So at the moment I've taken to stealth killing the a weaker target, running away, stealth killing another weak target, running away, curse as the weaker ones have leveled up, running away and then banging my head against the wall when taking down the shaman.
I can't join multiplayer games because lag hits me like a bitch as a sniper. So I've given up for now. I'm not having fun with it.
Funny that you all complain about difficulty, It was my first DLC using the new loadout i got and i absolutely stomped everyone, First time since i started the game that i've done that as this character. Even more ironic, The character i stomped everything else with is getting steamrolled by everything in this DLC.
Compared to the other DLCs, this one is harder, but it's still pretty easy for me.
Gearbox you tards.
All that rare shit I had, I was in Pyro Pete's bar but now I'm in Opportunity. THIS WAS 2 MONTHS AGO. This save I'm on is OLD AS FUCK!
I don't know what to think.
The environments and the enemies seemed to me like they had a lot more work put into them than the other dlc's, but it feels like the main quest really suffered in length compared to the other dlc's. I know that was something said beforehand, but it doesn't make it any less bad.
I'd love to see a non-outsourced DLC.
