I don't know what to think. The environments and the enemies seemed to me like they had a lot more work put into them than the other dlc's, but it feels like the main quest really suffered in length compared to the other dlc's. I know that was something said beforehand, but it doesn't make it any less bad. I'd love to see a non-outsourced DLC.
There are rumors of a 5th DLC, outside the Season Pass, which will be made by Gearbox. They have said that they can continue with DLC if there is consumer interest, so it is a possibility..
They also considered a second season of dlcs
So what? That's going to be 120 bucks on Borderlands 2? Sorry but no. (Game + Season Pass + 2nd Season Pass)
So what? That's going to be 120 bucks on Borderlands 2? Sorry but no. (Game + Season Pass + 2nd Season Pass)
I'm okay with this, other games have that same price overall and have less content
Thing is I'm tired of all this super expensive DLC. Not trying to derail the thread here but for example Battlefield 3, where the base game was 60 and the Premium/Season Pass was 50. Meaning the game and all the future content was 110 bucks. That's just absurd. (You can now buy both of them in one package for 30-something bucks). Tldr: Current video game prices are insane and that makes me angry.
Well....back in the NES days, a catridge cost 50$ and it lasted a few minutes to an hour, depending on the game. For me, games were and will always be expensive. Not talking about indie games though.

Welp, that new raid boss is fucking stupid. Let's put a stalker that can essentially 1-2 shot you+ unleash a lightning AoE that'll kill your shield instantly + his tamer that has a high as fuck shield that he can give to the stalker (he will die though because he loses the shield) + completely destroy your shield with his electric zap + minions everywhere that can 3 shot you.
That sounds akin in difficulty to other raid bosses from your description.

But right now it's shit.
Seriously why the fuck is Mr. Torgue DLC censored? That just totally takes me out of the experience. Its rated M for a reason.

He actually comments on that. They surgically changed his "voicebox" or something like that. It's in the quest where you have to find the interviews.
He actually comments on that. They surgically changed his "voicebox" or something like that. It's in the quest where you have to find the interviews.
It's also one of the random things he'll say when you're in the crater
Yeah i can understand people find that funny but for me personally, i hate hearing bleeps.
To quote the man himself as of why: "THE TORGUE SHAREHOLDERS WIRED MY VOICEBOX WITH A DIGITAL CENSOR SO I CAN'T SAY STUFF LIKE SH*T, C*CK, OR P*SSY F*CKIN' D*CKBALLS! THATS LIKE HALF MY F*CKIN' VOCABULARY, IT'S GODDAMN BULLSH*T!"
Anyone know where to find the new unique Jakobs shotgun, Twister?
Anyone know where to find the new unique Jakobs shotgun, Twister?
I think it's just a quest reward.
Fun fact, the Witch Doctors have immunity to Phaselock so it only affects them for a second at the most before they break out of it. Such fun!
I can phaselock them just fine. Then again it's only for about one second but it's still enough to break them out of things like tornadoes and stealing my health. Also I'm pretty sure that Rouge drops the Twister when you kill it.
I can phaselock them just fine. Then again it's only for about one second but it's still enough to break them out of things like tornadoes and stealing my health.
You can do it, they just resist it. Which can be irritating I guess
So, uh, I don't know about you guys, but I've very much enjoyed this DLC. Sure, story is nonexistent, but in a game like borderlands, who needs it?
The german dude cracked me up. So did the probably purposefully anticlimactic ending.
Only read this page but fuck the DLC so far. Just finished the [sp]destroy DNA[/sp]quest and the side quests before it. A bunch of travel through honestly cool looking terrain just to fight enemies that can't be crit and have other frustrating gimmicks. I do hilariously low amounts of damage and the only reason we are progressing at all is because one of us is a melee Zer0. I was a big fan of the prior two but the experience thus far for me and my friend has been disappointing to say the least.
Wow, the game shows a bit of difficulty and people complain.
Wow, the game shows a bit of difficulty and people complain.
There is nothing difficult about making mobs have high health pools and not letting them be critically hit :downs:
I've critically hit them many of times.
Obviously I'm not talking about every mob, other than health pools, which are insane.
Obviously I'm not talking about every mob, other than health pools, which are insane.
It's possible to critical all of them. It's just a bit difficult on some.
Obviously I'm not talking about every mob, other than health pools, which are insane.
Badass Savage - 6-7 RL shots, 250k-350k dmg each, is not fun to fight.
I've still yet to find the Twister after killing many creatures and completing most of the missions. I thought maybe it dropped from the Rakk boss in Scylla's Grove, but I can't seem to figure out how to respawn him. The fireworks in the bucket don't work anymore.
