So, low level launchers with big mags and high ROF to rocket jump? Guess I'll go hunting for them.
You know what I'd love to see again? Guardians. A DLC for guardians that expands the plot. Those guys and the Eridium race were really interesting, and the whole concept seems to have been abandoned, save for the Vault Key and the Warrior.
Whatever the final DLC is, I just want the final battle to be fought alongside the other [sp]remaining[/sp] Vault Hunters.
God dammit launch trailer, you lied to me!

And an absorption shield that has a really high absorption rate (The Sham)
Fuck witch doctors
Fuck witch doctors
Witch doctors aren't that bad, other than being obscenely hard (impossible?) to crit. Just stay away from the lightning ones. I find the endless waves of dozens of shielded savages more annoying to fight.

Have you, by chance, met a vampire witch doctor?
Fuck those guys, they are the ultimate dicks of borderlands. Jack doesn't have shit on them.
Anyone got any tips on how to force omd omdouchebag to spawn? I want a Twister so badly.

Try spawning Dexidious or whatever, one of those Omd Omdh guys will spawn at the final "shrine"

I've done that, I've even let Super Badass Witch Doctors heal Ultimate Badass Savages for 15 minutes. Does it work like Vermivorous or something?
BNK-3R is one of the most annoying boss fights to do with The Bee, the fight is constructed so you never have full fucking shields. Motars, dual auto-cannons, Eridium Cannon-thing, dual missile pods, platform lasers, the Loaders around the platform...everything just to make sure you never have full shields. And when you finally kill everything that can possibly hurt you and destroy the auto-cannons, the fucker flys off to shoot mortars at you for another two minutes.
Really pisses me off considering how fucking easy the final boss is to farm with a Fibber.

I have the ultimate strategy for fighting BNK-3R
Hide by the vending machines near the spawn, The only thing that will get to you is a very small trickle of robots (2-3 per fight) and some mines. Note that he'll appear in the walkway right above the vending machines allowing you to put the hurt on him but you might have to wait at times because sometimes he'll be in an area you can't see.

I always hang around the middle section on a stack of boxes covering my back, and head up the waterfall when it flies away. Things tend not to shoot me in those two places.
Also, if you want to really kill the bunker, I don't know if it's still a glitch, but Zer0's piercing bullets ability, an amp shield, and a shotgun can kill it in one hit because the bullets can (and often do) hit multiple times.
Happy hunting!
[editline]19th January 2013[/editline]
And I always feel like assault rifles and SMG's are useless compared to other weapons. A sniper rifle is like an assault rifle that always hits things in the head from farther, and a shotgun is like an SMG that does it's damage faster for an up-close fight.
Are ARs and SMGs meant to be just solid, shoot in the body DPS, or is there another use for them? The only SMGs I use are Tediore bullet bricks.

Bunker is the closest thing BL2 has to a well designed boss fight. He has situational weak points, well telegraphed attacks, and looks awesome.

This. Stay down by the vending machines and you'll rarely take damage. Just have to watch out for surprise exp-loaders, but they rarely come down there.

I rather liked the final boss in Big Game Hunt. Also the Warrior was was fun enough to grind a few dozen times.
I find Bunker too easy. Solo farming as a Gunzerker is beyond mindless; I just run around not taking hardly any damage and shooting him when he comes close, repeat ad nauseum. And I still don't have my fucking customization.

Fuck, before the Bee nerf I'd stand out in the middle and shoot anything that moved, and once he started flying phaselock him for the slag damage bonus, and lay into it with my Maggie. Only lasted 2 or 3 rounds of that.
am i the only person who finds bnk-3r as a really easy fight
just get a powerful rocket launcher and shoot him. esp. works well with anarchy gaige.

Well, no, look two posts above yours :v:
As tanky Gunzerker I out-regen the small amount of damage he does with turrets and I can easily avoid the bots.

It's a cluster-fuck at times, especially when it has the dual-auto-cannon and missile pod combo out while the floor lasers are on and there's two War Loaders bearing down on you.
I like the Buzzard Support though, kind of the only fight in the game were you ain't on your own. I still think that it spends too goddamn long flying about and not attacking you, the mortars are fun to watch but sitting around shooting at inevitably respawning Loaders while he does his thing is kind of lame.
Maybe I've just stumbled into a blind zone, but the loaders always seem to shoot at the support guys and not me.

I've killed BNK3R in excess of 200 times (I stopped counting around that point but I've done it a lot more since then) and I haven't got a single head drop. These fucking drop rates mang.
Yeah, bl2 is fun and all, but the drop rates are pretty shit.
I'm honesty thinking about writing a strongly worded letter to gearbox about it.

i mean even without these 'trick strats' like 'hide here' or 'hide there' just walk around the top and shoot shit

It's not so much the drop rates as the way things are dropped having almost every legendary drop form a specific guy and having to grind for currency to buy legendaries remove one of the most important aspects of this genre, which is never knowing what you're going to find next.
I was not happy when I learned that certain people dropped certain, obviously fantastic and amazingly good, items. I would rather everybody dropped good items, and rarely dropped "fun" items. The legendaries aren't so much fun as they are good.
Just found Veruc in a red chest.
My first legendary from the chest in BL2 ever.
I went back to the first game to check some stuff and opened a chest and found a Volcano in it. That was my first legendary in the first game as well as first legendary from a chest.
When I was first going through Pirate's Booty on my level 48 Mechromancer, I found a Conference Call in one of the chests in the treasure room on my first run through. I sold it without testing it because I thought it seemed terrible from the stats. You have no idea how many times I kicked myself after first reading this thread.

I got one from the same spot, luckily i knew what i had gotten my hands on.
On another note, My Gunzerker is specced for a tanky health regen build, but I'm having trouble finding weapons that work well with the class. At the moment I'm just running around with Infinity pistols of various elemental effects, which works ok with Quick Draw, I'm Your Huckleberry, and Divergent Likeness, but I was just wondering what you guys use with your Gunzerkers which seems to work well?
