On another note, My Gunzerker is specced for a tanky health regen build, but I'm having trouble finding weapons that work well with the class. At the moment I'm just running around with Infinity pistols of various elemental effects, which works ok with Quick Draw, I'm Your Huckleberry, and Divergent Likeness, but I was just wondering what you guys use with your Gunzerkers which seems to work well?
I use the double Harold when fighting Pete and Terramorpheus, and an Hyperion shotgun and a Slagga in normal play. Works pretty good for me.
The thing that bothers me most about b2 is that it feels like you could open a hundred chests and never get higher than a green

I don't know why you are complaining, the fact that certain enemies have increased drop-rates is interesting, I remember in BL1 if you found a Legendary you knew you were a lucky motherfucker (aside from the Volcano, I think it had a increased drop rate compared to everything else).

The Bitch is still as good as I remembered
This is the first time i got Orange weapon from the slot machine. 250+ hours of gameplay...
Getting legendary from slot machine earlier than hitting lvlcap is a bit disappointing. But it's totally opposite with purple guns.
The thing that bothers me most about b2 is that it feels like you could open a hundred chests and never get higher than a green
I agree, chests in BL1 had a much better chance of giving you decent weapons. I've found a lot of yellow and orange grade weapons in chests on the first game. But I suppose there were a lot more legendary weapons in the first game, seeing as each manufacturer did every weapon type. Still though, I haven't found a legendary in the slot machines after spending about $7,000,000, let a lone in a chest. [editline]20th January 2013[/editline] I miss this gun

BL2 may have better gun play and gun models but BL1 certainly had better uniques and legendaries. Not to mention there was more diversity in the randomisation of actual stats and effects of guns. Plus I preferred the naming scheme BL1 used for items too.
I still sigh a little and gaze longingly at my B1 case whenever I find a gun called 'Pistol' or 'HURRDURRR LAUNCHER'
Yep. Weapon prefixes were much better. [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/918991495500381048/47637683059BCEAAA3A8EBD5800DC6553A6FFD06/[/t]
Started up BL1 after I got frustrated with BL2 drops. Went to New Haven, opened a white chest and BAM!, inside is a Surkov.
I only played for like a week when it was released, so I want someone's who played longer opinion. Is Zer0 melee style play viable? If it is, is it endgame viable or just for messing around against the random mooks?
Yep. Weapon prefixes were much better. It also made the flavor text for the guns seem more mysterious/threatening. And for me, it was one of the ways I could make sense of the BL universe, where as bad as things were on Pandora, elsewhere in the galaxy there was a sense of order, even if people were constantly killing eachother. but now everything is all WACKY AND INSANE!!!!11

Other than that, good mod and relic is essential. But if you want one of the best weapons for Zer0, try to get a Slag Rubi. Its a beast.

Torgue launchers are the absolute worst though. I just don't understand it. How does "HURR DURR DERP" describe or fit a rocket launcher? How does it even fit Torgue as a corporation? It should have been stuff like "V8 Facemelter" or something like that.

Also, they said that the reason for all the stupid names for Tourge rocket launchers were supposed to be onomatopoeias for motorcyle chopper engines. Although it doesn't translate well and is incomprehensible most of the time.
I can't figure out if Mick Zafford is a difficult fight or if zer0 is just a weak piece of shit
I can't figure out if Mick Zafford is a difficult fight or if zer0 is just a weak piece of shit
Your Zero is probably a weak piece of shit.
Yep zer0 is definitely a weak piece of shit
Yep zer0 is definitely a weak piece of shit
You could try aiming.

I still have 3 Volcanos for whatever reason, it's the only legendary I ever goddamn found. I kind of did prefer the BL1 drop style though, I liked the idea of it being by complete chance and not by continually shooting a boss to hope it drops.
i finished the hammer lock big hunt game DLC you have like 6 chests at the end that have a chance to spawn sexy stuff i opened the last of em..hoping to get some good shit icouldnt believe my mind but there it was the god damm orange conference call it was so fucking great
Welp it's been a while, time to get back into Borderlands 2.
Any hints hidden in the Hammerlock DLC that give away what the next one is?
wtb torgue sniper rifles with longbow stocky projectiles
wtb maliwan shotguns that are just flamethrowers ripped from metal slug.
What would be the best way to go about summoning Vermivorous? I'm having trouble with doing it as he just won't spawn and I'd like to get myself some legendary class mods.
