If anyone is interested. The only thing I do want at this point is a good Protection Relic. Something with loads of Shield Capacity and Recharge Delay.
Gimme a shout if you're interested (PC).
Does anyone have lvl 50 shock Rubi? I will trade my corrosive one

And same for Kiss of Death grenades.

I will give you my explosive for shock.
Might add something for both.

That's quite unfortunate. I sold a rather good Shock Rubi not two days ago. Getting close to it again with a new character so I'll keep an eye out.
Does anyone know the drop chance on the Infinity Pistol? Seems to be as low as the Dow Jones...
Shift seems to be down.
My save data got corrupted.
First Borderlands started freezing a bunch of times, and now my character is gone.
I mean, I have a backup, but its a bit old...
Does anyone know if this can be repaired?
Just got season pass and it seems I've got some issues with Big Game Hunt. It's not downloading.
If I proceed to game's menu "downloadable content" it says that it's not installed, and pressing enter simply brings up dlc's page.
So, how do I force download?

Exit Borderlands and just wait a couple seconds for Steam to start downloading it.
How close am I to the ending if I just got to Arid Nexus?
I've played this damn game for almost 60 hours, done every side mission and explored around a lot but still haven't finished it.

Quite close. You have maybe another two or three hours left, perhaps a bit less even.

didn't change anything.
Restart Steam.
By how much does aiming down the sight increase accuracy compared to hip-firing? Anyone got some math on this?

Well it's done. Even got my first legendary (which is piece of shit).

restarting steam, restarting game, verifying game cache is not helping
I think reinstalling game might help

Or maybe that's because I'm on mac and the dlc wasn't ported yet?
[editline]28th January 2013[/editline]
welp, big game hunt wasn't ported to mac yet, that's why I couldn't download it

You'll be guaranteed to have a legendary drop on your first kill.
Might I inquire as to what legendary dropped for you?
does anyone know how to easily spawn vermivorous or whatever
i've been doing this shit for about 2 hours
By how much does aiming down the sight increase accuracy compared to hip-firing? Anyone got some math on this?
No math, but it's a whole lot. There's not much reason to not shoot while aiming. Jumping then aiming even keeps you moving, and for slow guns you can aim only when shooting.

Sinewy Flakker. It was poweful but the slow rate of fire and low accuracy made it bad.

Jesus that piece of shit. Thankfully I got something decent on mine.
Also, before I started my second playthrough, I thought I had the best guns at the moment, almost all purple n' shit, but then the game started dropping whites even better... and I still have problems dealing with some enemies that have high health.

Welcome to playthrough 2, Take a number.
Do you have have the problem where you start up Borderlands 2 and it does that first time install thing and takes forever and never finished step 1 out of 6?

My friend and I got a Conference Call as our first legendary. Was pretty sweet.
Not quite as sweet was the fact I had to kill the Warrior another 70 times before another CC dropped.

What kind of guns are you using as what class? I found that using Snipers on Playthrough 2 was real sweet until I got to 2/3 of the Story Line. Loaders became a problem and I switched to SMG's and Pistols.

The 'easiest' way is to be with 4 people or download something to make the game think you're with 4 (whilest being alone). More people is more Varkid. Besides that it's almost completely random on how long it'll take. First time it took me "only" 40 minutes to spawn him. Now it sometimes takes me 2-3 hours.

Sniper rifles, SMGs, pistols, shotguns.. Anything that kills.

With who (Maya, Zer0, etc)?
BUt as I said. I found Snipers very useful in the early stages of TVM. You could give it a try, see if it suits you.

Zer0.

Also, I wasn't accepting any side missions so I can finish them at level 50 and get the rewards but because of a brain fart I went and accepted all of them. *sigh*

you cant still accept them. Just dont complete them until lv 50

Neither makes a difference.
I waited until I was level 50 to do the side-quest where you solve the murder in Sanctuary, and still got an under-leveled revolver.

That's because simply doing it at level 50 doesn't work. You have to do it on playthrough 2.5 (i.e beat the warrior on TVHM and then go do the quests)
