vault hunter mode is the biggest load of shit I've ever seen. Every single enemy one-shot kills me, and the only weapons I can find do fuck all damage and are like, 5 levels below me. I've found no good shields or guns at all, but every single god damn enemy just whips out the tiniest little bitch fuck of a pistol and one shot kills me.

Welcome to borderlands, hope you brought a sniper rifle.

I have 2. one is acid, one is a jakobs. the jacobs does around 6000-some damage, the other does acid damage and shoots in bursts. I have an assault rifle that does 6000 damage, and it takes two entire mags to kill one fucking stalker.

You need to employ a tactic i've used for nearly every enemy i encountered during my many playthroughs of the borderlands series
Ignore the enemies and run as fast as you can towards the objective and hope you don't get shot.

The only part I actually did this on was the final area with the badass constructor.

zero is pretty good at this
Say what you will about Rats, I thought they added a lot to the atmosphere.
I remember the first time I fought them, they really freaked me out.
S'pecially them Lab Rats.

No, fuck you, Rats can freeze to death. Spastic little fuckers.
I never had a problem with rats.
Started playing Borderlands 1 again on steam. Beginnings a little slower than I remember, but I still love the game.

It'd be hard to go back, since I've been spoiled by health/ammo/money automatically being picked up.
Yeah. BL1, you might as well have the E button held down
Rats are change from Bandits by, Instead of tippytoeing away or to cover with some decent bulk to protect them, instead rats sacrifice some of their durability for dexterity.

Oh yeah, you can be both medic and soldier at the same time.
And enemies drop the guns they use. And pt2 is not broken. And no farming certain bosses for legendaries. And...

In BL1 the players are what's broken, you can have every single damn talents and the reason you never need to farm is because you can kill anything with a smasher type weapon, or anything that is at least x2.
Though I do prefer the look of the old weapons, I know Borderlands doesn't strive on realism but I find the old weapons' look to be more fitting / more bearable to look at.
The thing about BL1 was that you could get all sorts of OP abilities, I regenerated ammo about as fast as my LMG could shoot it and my shields shot up to full after every kill.

But there were no actual gamechangers. And less skills. Don't forget lvlcap of 69 and 2 free skill points from Moxxi's arena.
Comparison
Soldier in Borderlands

21[7x3] Skills, Level Cap - 69, Max Skill Points - 67[46+2+19]
Soldier in Borderlands 2

32 Skills, Level Cap - 50, Max Skill Points - 46
I kind of want a mod that adds in those awesome revolving shotguns that were in B1. That was one of the few things that stood out for me in B1.

Id say the "End tree fuckall skills" were gamechangers. But just because somethings not a "game changer" doesnt mean its overpowered.
Ex: Revive, Cauterize, Refire, Quick Charge
Just to name some.
Hot fixes for Borderlands 2 for 2/12/13
February 12, 2013
- Mechromancer's Prodigy class mod now correctly increases reload speed.
- Seraph Gear from Captain Scarlett and Mr. Torgue DLC re-balanced to be more powerful.
- Sir Hammerlock DLC: Arizona no longer refuses to spawn if players are too far away.
Ooh, sounds interesting.
Wait.
Seraph gear in Mr. Torgue DLC?

There was a seraph merchant inside the little shanty town in front of the stadium.
Also got these

It's a nice rocket launcher, but I don't know how many times I have accidentally killed myself with it.

My friend use it as ultimate Second Wind weapon.
I've only found two legendary weapons in Borderlands 2. The Longbow and the Baby Maker. And the Baby Maker was ten levels below me, even though I was on TVHM. So really just one.
Welcome to the FAB-2

I want to play TVHM, but even though I'm level 44 my game keeps giving me the shittiest weapons and shields imaginable, and I can't even walk into a room with three bandits without getting my shields depleted instantly.
"Happy Loverpalooza!"
For years, Moxxi has delighted and excited Pandora's denizens with her theatrical style, pithy innuendos, and a seemingly endless supply of exes. But when it comes time to give out anniversary gifts and every single day marks a possible anniversary with someone, what's a poor girl to do?
Simple -- the Loverpalooza! Today, everyone gets to be one of Miss Moxxi's honorary exes. And Moxxi treats her exes well (apart from the ones she kills, of course) -- on Loverpalooza Day, she bestows eligible Pandoran men and women with free stuff!
To receive your gifts from Miss Moxxi, enter the SHiFT codes below:
PC / Mac Borderlands 2 'Loverpalooza' SHiFT Code: W3KJ3-69JR5-9CXT3-JTJJT-WSCK5

This year's offerings include special celebratory skins -- "Real Men Wear Pink" for Axton, "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" for Zer0, "Pretty and Pink" for Maya, "Pink Eyes" for Salvador, "Gumming the Works" for Gaige -- that will be available in the Quick Change character customization station, along with a special version of Moxxi's Heart Breaker shotgun that will be the same level as (and appear in the backpack of) the first character you load after redeeming the code.
These codes will be active through February 17, 2013 -- be sure to use them before then!

That's normal, TVHM is brutal.
