What is this "ammo" some people keep mentioning?

just wanted to drop this puppy here
So, i'm in the dust, and suddenly, the ground falls out from beneath me. No big deal, i'll just quit and reload. I do so, load up at Ellies, grab a technical and start to drive away. Back through the ground. Rinse, and repeat two or three times. I flat out just close BL2 and restart it, same deal.
God damn that's the first time it's happened but it just keeps happening.

Also, on Playthrough 2, doing the side quests seems almost needed. It's not much harder than PT1 generally, but the level gaps start getting bigger and each individual level becomes a bigger deal, so meeting an enemy one level higher than you can sometimes be more challenging than you want. Simply doing side quests saves you from that pain. I'm doing a completionest run through on my Zer0 right now and it's going well.
Also, why has no Zer0 player shown any love for Cunning? 26 points in the cunning tree is just amazing. Those kunai work so well at either melting one target or weakening every other target, and his Unf0rseen skill is as useful as Liliths phasewalk shockwave thing.

well, finally plowed through the 'Were angels fear to tread' mission with 3 other people only for [sp] the bunker [/sp] to drop ONLY lvl 46 stuff.
We were all like lvl 48- lvl 50.
I did finally get to lvl 50 by the end of the fight though.
I haven't found a single etech AR, rocket launcher or smg yet.
Seems like those are the most difficult to find.

Ive been procrastinating playing this game because friends didnt want me to go to far ahead even on a different character but i cant wait so ive been playing all day.

Guys, very quick question!
If me and my buddy beat game on P2 as levels 48, will we get screwed and P2.5 will be scaled to us, or will game bump itself up to 50-52 no matter our level, or how exactly does it work ?
We haven't done any sidequests soloely to have loot-heaven on P2.5 and we don't want to screw up just before that.
So, I had three rocket launchers in my inventory on my Salvador.. and was nearing [sp]Wilhelm[/sp] and decided to do a little test. Gunzerking two rocket launchers, get him down to like 15% health, pull out the pistol you get from Tina, and finish him off.

When I killed jack he fell face first into the vault key hole, so I could only see the back of his head.[/sp]

That was the most glitched mission in the game for me. Fink has no audio when you talk to him, and while fighting enemy spawn seems very delayed. It was really quiet during the whole thing as well, like there was a lack of ambient noise.
[sp]I think it means that Jack isn't the end all be all of the villany of the game. If he's got that symbol on his real face, his motivations kind of change. His actions towards his daughter still mean he wanted to control her and her power as well as control a super power like the warrior, but the mark could mean a few things about his true motivations towards why he wanted that control.
It could mean that he's part of a cult or a other form of religous group that want control of the vaults and know more about them then we do(face it, we don't know a lot about the vaults).
It could mean a lot of things and I have a lot of theories, but I'd not want to ramble further[/sp]

Side quests. Do em. Also all your PT1 weapons scale into PT2 horribly.
Also, I found that you need to be much more specialized in terms of how you build in general in order to succeed. Anything else seems to get you killed. Don't worry about losing cash to dying. You'll more than make it back.

Why must all rare weapons have a gimmick? I just want a straight shooting powerful gun thats rare so I can feel accomplished and rape shit at the same time.
I came across a blue assault rifle today and its stats were pretty awesome looking but when I fired it the bullets went straight up and arced down like a goddamned mortar. I have to aim practically at my feet to hit something 10 feet away. What the fuck.
What's your favorite character? I picked Zero but I'm not entirely sure that I like him.
I do but I feel like I may enjoy someone else more.

My zero sniper kills most enemies in 1-5 shots. Crits just fucking obliterate everything.
