Level 47, hot damn the game gets difficult. I should be level 50 before end-game. Also, the group I play with kept bugging me to play while I was in the middle of a mission, I left the first three times, but today I said I was busy doing a mission and that I couldn't leave this time. Their response? "we're moving on without you". gee thanks assholes, now i know who to avoid :)

There's a unique non-scoped Jackobs you can get that's similar to the elephant gun from the first game, the quest even has you killing a giant skag again. Mine actually did generate with a bayonet, so there's that. It's like the Somme every time I go bandit hunting. I don't think it's possible to get one randomly though.

i joined a game with people doing it my first play through so where do you get the quest
Lynchwood. It starts with the animal rescue quest where you have to help an injured skag. To find it just walk towards the end of the railway as you enter the town and the skag will be outside of a kennel in between the two tracks, just behind the walkway going up to the rest of the zone.
It's also a very good gun. I pretty much gave up using assault rifles in favour of it. Even better if you do manage to get it with a bayonet.

In general? [sp]Terra, The Warrior and maaaybe Vermi[/sp]. For anything specific? [sp]PT2.5, whichever boss happens to have it as thier rare drop (Hellquist with the bee, for example. Or Knuckledragger with the acid pistol)[/sp]

The current working way to do it is to find one of the profiles which were edited with 255 keys before they stopped it working (and then revert to a backup to keep your ba'ass ranks)

You know what's really starting to bug me? How ironsights and simple sights like the little hologram one, don't aim at the center of your screen, you either have to aim around a centimeter above or below where the sight is pointing to actually hit where you want the bullet to go. I got this one gun that had the little hologram sight and the center of the screen was in the top portion of the actual gun, not anywhere near the dot on the sight where it should have been.

I'm pretty sure sights don't affect stats this time around (I did a [sp]BNK3R[/sp] run today and it dropped three shotguns which were identical but with different scopes), so inventory editing might solve that problem when it's possible.

It pretty much is. There's a scopeless sniper called "Buffalo". It's even a quest reward for killing a giant Skag.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I did it before that too. However, I [I]think[/I] you may need to have [sp] killed the sheriff[/sp] first though. But I'm probably wrong.
