Finally got The bee after hours of farming. Now farming warrior for conferance call, gotten every legendary he drops except for that damn shotgun.
Been playing around with different Axton builds. Don't know if this is gonna help me or fuck me over.

This Siren build is amazing. It sucks all the enemies in a 10(ish) meter radius into the phase lock, then slags, shocks, burns, and corrodes them.

My first game I went into the motion tree for the ability where your phaselock goes to a new target if the locked one dies.
Then I found out it doesn't increase the duration at all so I re-did it and am now going for almost this same exact build.
Just completed my first playthrough at level 33. Fantastic game, with only a few quests that felt like they dragged.
Now for Vault Hunter mode...

My problem is trying to figure out when to put which skill points into where to make that kind of build efficiently.

I've heard its better to focus completely on one tree, then move to another for a few extra bonuses

Heads up, and I could be wrong, but I don't believe chain reaction and accelerate will apply to your elemental guns. I'd advise maxing out Ward and then throwing 4 points in Kinetic Reflection and the other ability in Motion that restores shields as you kill enemies. It's basically what I'm rocking right now and it works great.
That build works best if you want to throw on a Pangolin shield. You'll recharge it fast by killing and Ward will boost the capacity and lower the delay. You miss out on the Nova's but I believe there's an ability over in the Cata tree that will do it if you want and don't mind sacrificing some of your other abilities.

I know, I've done full Survival with half Guerilla, Full Guerilla and half Gunpowder, and full Gunpowder and half Survival. This set up is pretty good bringing together the extra health from the Longbow, firepower from Rocket pods, protection from the Bubble shield, Metal Storm, and faster cooldown (different build not in the one pictured).
I'm starting a fresh character and playing co op with a friend. What would be the best class combination? I'm thinking of going as Maya while my friend goes for Axton.

Maya and Axton or Maya and Salvador work good together. I'm not too sure about how you'd pair with Zer0 but it doesn't sound good.

Dinged 50, killed [sp]Warrior, Terramorphous,[/sp] and did the LOTR "quest". Got an level 50 purple of every weapon except an SMG, great class mods for future alts, and a shitload of pistols from the sanctuary box.

I'm primarily pistol-melee Zer0 so at a glance I'd say [sp]Hodunk[/sp],, but I'm on playthrough 1. Does this still apply? Or is it down to personal preference?

If you're on pt1 then farming him is pointless, so pick whichever side's weapon you want the most really.

Some bandits were chasing me as I got to Ellie's and they actually launched themselves into the crusher. I activated it but it didn't crush them or even their car.
Still though, what are the damn odds?
Does increasing Axton's turret's accuracy actually do something? Will it crit?
Also, how's the shield?
I'm level 42, got rocket pods and gemini (they're so cute together), gotta decide what to do. 8 points to go. Increase gun damage or further improve my buddies.
Dunno, I hear the shield is pretty weak, haven't used it myself though.

Accuracy shrinks rate of fire. It's an effective range increase. It will get more critical hits depending on the actual target.
Shield is useless at 50, dunno about earlier. It goes down instantly.

I tricked my friend into going in there when he followed me. I jumped out and spammed the button as I watched the machine slowly close on him. His last words were, "Bitch move."
