Weird thing just happened.
I did the quest where you have to solve a murder, picked a guy, and the guy next to him said "HAHAHA, WRONG" and legged it. So i quickly caught up and accused him instead. The sheffie guy does his little speech and fires a shot, and the murderer, who at this point is in an alleyway a few meters away, drops dead.
Then they all just wander off.
Is there any way I can get a refund? I'd like to play this game but I still can't (stutter from network adapter).

You can try Steam if you got it from there. Going to be hard though. Friend of mine got his Homefront game returned because it was also unplayable.

I wondered what happened, and wanted to read it up, but the wiki ain't quite a lore source.
After all, Borderlands I had pretty much none, and now the sequel rolls along, with all that awesome story. It [I]really[/I] makes this game way more memorable and interesting in the long term.

Something makes me think Jack was a good guy at first, but then they beat him up and tortured him, so now he came evil and wears the mask.

Or it's because [sp]somehow his Wife died, and iirc it might have been Angel who killed her. He might have been in fanatic love with her, and basically broke down when she died. That's why he did that to Angel, and since then things just went their way.[/sp]

Blame the dickwads at hyperion, they treated him like shit, and once jack was right about something and got a little power, he became insane.
So... are there any [I]good[/I] companies? Dahl were assholes, hyperion are power greedy assholes, maliwan... dunno, torgue are stupid, tediore probably has sweat houses, jakobs worked everyone to zombies...

I think Vladoff isn't too bad. I still don't think Dahl is that bad either.
Yeah, Pandora was a total catastrophe, them just up and leaving and all. But I don't think they were nearly as bad as Atlas or Hyperion.
And considering those two companies were breathing down their neck on Pandora I think it would been better for them to get out than risk a planetary war with those two. They lost a lot on Pandora as well- their finest mining ship so I don't think they really had much of a choice.
The other day I posted here saying I was unsure if I should get this game because I didn't really get into the first one.
Well that was about 3 days ago, I bought it and have played it a lot since then and I can't believe I was unsure about getting this game, so glad I got it it's amazing, hours and hours of gameplay and I'm still not bored in the slightest.
I wish Atlas was still in the game. Why were they removed?

Because they got fucked up the ass in the first game. After Knoxx got killed and they were pretty soundly defeated by the first vault hunters, they were messed up pretty bad. I don't know if they fell apart or not though.

I'm curious about this too, the tips say that there'll be more and better loot if you play with more people, but dunno if that has anything to do with the chance for legendaries.
