Because they got fucked up the ass in the first game. After Knoxx got killed and they were pretty soundly defeated by the first vault hunters, they were messed up pretty bad. I don't know if they fell apart or not though.
Well all of the promo material for BL2 straight up said they went out of business due to what happened but I'm not sure if that's actually stated in the game its self, only that Atlas abandoned Pandora and left all of the remaining lancemen for dead.

Cruel

Not as bad as what Dahl did; they left all of their workers on the planet. They make up a lot of the bandit population.
Do Blue respawns from that mission under sanctuary?
Do Blue respawns from that mission under sanctuary?
Every boss and semi-boss respawns, including Blue.
Which is good because now I can farm [sp]Henry[/sp] and hopefully he'll drop the [sp]Dapper gent[/sp] but I killed him at least 50 times now and he hasn't dropped a thing.
Also, did anyone else feel a little bad for Tannis when they realized she [sp]had Aspergers?[/sp]
Also, did anyone else feel a little bad for Tannis when they realized she [sp]had Aspergers?[/sp]
what
when did they even mention that
Also, did anyone else feel a little bad for Tannis when they realized she [sp]had Aspergers?[/sp]
Why would you?
I have aspergers, and I don't see it as something to feel bad about.
I think I forgot about that.
Hooray I think the loot relic is actually working! I saw my first orange in like 20 warrior kills!
The bad thing is that the stupidass launched it through the stratosphere at a million miles an hour and it probably went through the skydome.

I'm quite sure she doesn't.

I didn't mean in that sense, I just can't imagine Pandora being the most supportive place.
what

It's mentioned in a quest dialogue, the text bit.
I vaguely remember it coming up, but I sort of assumed it was a joke.
I'm getting this for the Xbox on thursday. So hyped.

At least you've seen one, I'm at 80 kills no drops so far.
At least you've seen one, I'm at 80 kills no drops so far.
Yeah, at least there is that. I did just get an impaler shield though, almost missed it; it was literally right in front of the warrior's mouth, almost in the lava.
So what's the deal with oranges? I've heard constant talk of it. I assume its about drops, not fruits?

poor you

The color of legendary weapons is orange.

Naw man we're trying to get huge bosses to drop fruits, have you ever seen a fruit drop from a boss? It's bad ass.
why does everybody rate the bee so highly, i've always thought that lowering your shields for extra damage to be a sort of self defeating thing, or is p2 that hard by the end?
also in terms of relics, i've kept my loot one all the way through p1 and just starting p2...i just can't justify giving up that extra chance of getting loot compared to having that tiny bit more health or ammo...
oh THATS why...just looked at the amp damage and stopped reading..
What is the deal with the Tundra express farmhouse? It feels like there should be a mission taking place there, but I don't think there actually is.
For those of you that don't explore here is what I am talking about:

Exactly what I thought. Especially considering the slightly suspicious looking portrait of one of Marcus' ancestors on the wall. I totally thought that would be related to some quest.
Found a pangolin shield that has 20k capacity that is boosted to 21k by skills, and I found a pangolin mod that adds like 1-2k health and health regen.
Level 40.
Question: Is the mission in Sawtooth Cauldron with Ulysses a reference to something? I can't help but feel that way, especially with the name.
Also, we managed to do the impossible. We flipped one of the vehicles and it didn't automatically get up!

Slap it, usually helps.

Well Ulysses was the latin version of Odysseus, of Homer's Odyssey fame. Given his goal in the quest it might be a reference to that. Though obviously the quest ends much... differently than how the Odyssey went :v:
