So I just completed levels of both the Blue Sparks and hit-and-fun challenges as Zero simultaneously. I thought both of them were supposed to give me a skin and the pop-ups seemed to confirm this but in my inventory I only received one ('sun blasted'). Am I just seeing stuff and thought one of them gave a skin but it didn't, or is it really bugged like I think it is and I'll have to do it again on another Zero character?
Aaaand the steam servers go down again. Fantastic.
They often go down at around 7 for me.
Ice should replace slag, because slag is fucking useless.
They often go down at around 7 for me.
Odd. They never seem to go down for me. Except when they actually announce something.
Ice should replace slag, because slag is fucking useless.
Co-op, gunzerker, axton's turret and grenade mods would like a word with you.
Ice should replace slag, because slag is fucking useless.
1) No it isn't 2) It has an important narrative connection. How on earth is slag useless? I regularly slag my targets so that I can double my damage output on particularly difficult enemies. Slag has saved my ass a number of times. Not to mention how much it helps teammates.
Slag is like one of the few bonuses to gunzerking. Zerking with a slag pistol and sniper rifle is amazing.
Ice should replace slag, because slag is fucking useless.
Nooooo[sub]ooooooo[sub]oooooo[/sub][/sub] Dude. Slag turret plus rocket launcher wrecks bosses. and rocket turret and slag turret kicks ass.
how many people play this on xbox I still want to try a 4 player game sometime
slag is my second favorite elemental, beaten only by corrosive
Hey, would anyone be up for a level 35 playthrough two? I'm a level 35 slayer zero and I'm wondering if anyone's up for it. Hit me up on PM or find me on steam right here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Mikaru-Y/
What Skill Tree people here are using on Playthrough 2 for Axton? I'm getting some difficult to make the right choice, now I'm at level 40.
What Skill Tree people here are using on Playthrough 2 for Axton? Then went for surviveability because I am soloing it.
Nihlism is 1,000 kills while using Decepti0n, which takes so fucking long it's unbelievable I'm barely at 100 and I'm level 17
There are two real options: high-radius launchers at large crowds of enemies, or the final skill of the Bloodshed tree. The latter is much faster than the former, of course.

Through PT2 to endgame farming he used guerilla build down to capstone Slag turret with rest of the points down to Longbow in the Gunpowder tree. Once we started farming Warrior/Terra/Bunker he went to a straight Gunpowder build with splash in Guerilla for the rocket pods. Survivability isn't a very strong main tree. The top skills are great for general purpose play but the middle and lower skills are mediocre/outright pointless. I'd personally recommend Guerilla for your points then either Gunpowder for damage or Survivability for health/shields.
At high levels its impossible to keep up with others as zero unless you use the sniping tree. Honestly, his low health and almost complete lack of healing abilities means you're going to spend 90% of your time down unless you keep headshotting enemies before they can even see you. And don't talk to me a bout bloodshed, it's worthless. You can't chain any kills because at high levels enemies tank so much damage you can't get any melee kills and get to cover before you're downed, let alone keep healing yourself with sword kills.

I tried playing as him but I only barely got past level 10 before I realized he didn't have any good skills.
Just gifted inacio Borderlands 2 cause I am such a nice person. Also another person to play with.
Zero's deception skill is completely useless early on until you get skills that do stuff with it. It's more of a *take the heat off you for a couple seconds* skill. He's so boring right now, all I'm doing is sniping with him, something I can easily do better on any other character.
this was so nice of you <3 im really happy, i wanted bl2 BAD
Your welcome, sucks that your download speed is so slow, or else you'd be playing tonight.
I wish they'd have added more elements to use with weapons. also, pure melee weapons sound p. cool, with their randomization system.
how many people play this on xbox I still want to try a 4 player game sometime
i do whats your gamertag
You haven't lived as Zer0 until you kill a Buzzard with Deception melee. Killing a Skrakk puts you up there with godliness.
Ice should replace slag, because slag is fucking useless.
Factually wrong. Zer0, solo, Deathmark, Slag gun, switch to whatever element the target is weakest to, any enemy is dead.
also, pure melee weapons sound p. cool, with their randomization system.
They wouldn't be able to be balanced well. Depending on the percentage, they'd either be useless compared to guns with blade accs or deal enough damage to one-shot anything when combined with Zer0 (considering you can already get his deception cuts- whatever they're worth- to around 20,000 damage)

I know i've seen him hit for about 120k with a critical strike with the right melee bonuses and execute and roid shields. Still not that amazing for some targets but a melee weapon would change that, probably make him too strong. It's an alright way to flank the enemies, but not awesome. I recommend using it to shotgun enemies to death with, lure them around to your fake so you have a shot on their back, or flat out hide with it. Cunning makes his deception mode a lot more versatile IMO. Zer0 so far has proven to be one of the single highest damage dealers around, and he doesn't need to stick to a sniper to do it in my experience. He has some really high movement speed, and he has a spamable shotgun like attack with his kunai that can melt things so easily, his decoy can explode and kill things on it's own right, and cobra strike turns already deadly guns into horrifically strong close range shot guns. I really refuse to believe any character is the least bit useless. It's entirely in how you play it, and saying someone has no good skills leads me to believe you haven't checked a class out really.
when you do the Geary's Unbreakable Gear quest hes supposed to drop a purple shield where does it drop at

One kunai throw to a target and they're usually dead if they're typical enemy, times 5, plus unforseen, massive damage bonuses
Ugh Everything is a pain in the ass after The Once and the Slab on PT2.
