Xbox or PS3 by the way?
xbox and thank you
Definitely gonna use this. Sounds like the most legit way to farm for Legendaries or better loot in general
Be careful, I've heard some stories about it corrupting saves in BL1. I've been using it with my (fully backed up) Axton and have yet to see any issues, just a word of caution. It gets pretty difficult, but is really fun.

Hope it helps finding rare head drops.
Where is [sp]Henry[/sp] anyway? I've heard he drops [sp]Raz0r[/sp] for Zer0, and any Zer0 skins are welcome with me. However I have no idea what quest to look for here.
Near overlook in the highlands, The first quest you need to get is called "Stalking the stalker" iirc. It involves [sp]Picking up some chapters of a book[/sp] You can get it from the bounty board. after that stalkers will randomly drop an item that starts the quest to kill [sp]henry[/sp]

tested and it works, might use it to farm axton head that drops from bunker

G. At least that's what key I use.
Zero's deception skill is completely useless early on until you get skills that do stuff with it. It's more of a *take the heat off you for a couple seconds* skill. He's so boring right now, all I'm doing is sniping with him, something I can easily do better on any other character.
Makes you invisible, creates a clone, and dramatically increases your damage if you shoot at the end of it.
It's better than Gunzerking for the most part.

Turret > Phaselock > Deception > Gunzerking imo, though haven't played with any level 50 sirens so not sure on that one.

Gunzerker easily has the best ability of the 4, the amount of versatility it gives you is huge way too good, the biggest downside to gunzerking is that it's boring as shit to just take out a second gun and yell around.
I mean seriously, with gunzerker, you can solo anything in the entire game, you can go from full defensive to full offensive, until you get to max level where your overthetop amount of offensive power becomes your defense because you kill everything so fast.
Need to be defensive? use gunzerk to heal and make a wall of bullets
Need to be offensive? use gunzerk to heal and make a wall of bullets
Need to solo terra? use gunzerk (and the bee with 2 shotguns) and make a wall of wall of wall of bullets
Gunzerk seriously solves everything.
Basically, everything about the gunzerker is boring as shit, even most of his "talents" are just +damage, +damage in gunzerk, +damage when not in gunzerk, health, but it's the 2 best things in the game.

Except when you have to fight shielded guys, or from long range (which is always), or need accuracy at all. It's also the only ability that punishes you for using it at the wrong time, with no way to revert to a single gun.
It's defensive abilities are...okay...unspecced, and actually pretty good when you go Brawn, but it's offensive power isn't nearly as strong as you say it is. I'm currently at the end of PT2, in the Arid Nexus, fighting bots that take tons of shots from my two amazing shotguns (level 50 purple/blue).
The turret meanwhile might as well be a gunzerking in and of itself. Rockets have massive AOE, and with the laser sight and sentry upgrades it fires several accurate shots. Slag turret doubles the damage and puts a huge debuff on anything it hits. It also pseudo tanks for you. Phaselock is simple; an outright total CC that does certain affects based on how you spec. As I said I haven't played with a 50 Siren yet to see how powerful it is in 2.5 content but its certainly useful at lower levels. Deception is pretty boring but still incredibly useful. Most of the criticisms from Zero players come from Cunning/Bloodshed Zeros who don't understand how absurdly broken the Sniping tree is.
Gunzerking is by no means bad but for active abilities it's definitely the weakest and doesn't solve nearly as much as the other classes, while simulataenously being the most punishing for it's misuse.

Seriously, play with a high level Axton and tell me Gunzerking is better than a Guerilla spec turret.

I had a blast as Rampage Gunzerker until the end of PT1 where you started fighting SGT Loaders and other endgame fodder. I was just dying too fast for Gunzerk to be useful. So I went to Brawn and have been having fun since.
I love the voice of the Hyperion Loaders. They're so fun to fight just to hear the random strings of things they say.

There's an even skimpier version of it on the site he put in the description. I totally didn't try it out. :v:
OK so since findingthe conference call shotgun terra is easy as shit and has really bad drops in comparison to the warrior. Where is this Veriverous the immortal fellow and where can I find him?
I've been thinking about getting this for a bit, player with some friends probably, but can someone explain to me the dynamics behind the IP? I mean, how diverse are the classes in terms of abilities? Is picking between weapons something you do constantly or every now and again? Are there any repetitive quests or are you able to do these on another mission?

I would say axtons turret skill is the most boring since you just plop a turret down and walk away. Gunzerking just makes me feel like a badass and i love it.

The classes are extremely diverse in terms of abilities, each ability is different, playing each class is totally different. Picking between weapons really depends, I use a shotgun and a revolver mostly, but when I need to I have a rocket launcher and sniper to use, choosing weapons is relative.
There are a few "time race" quests that are annoying, but most quest are not to repetitive (Im on my second character and second play-through with him.
Personally, Axton and Maya work with any gun type in my experience. Maya seems to work especially well with elemental weapons however.
Salvador seems to be tilted towards Vladof's high ROF or Jakob's high damage weapons, wheras Zero is built for sniping or melee.

It makes you feel less of a badass once you get to challenging parts of the game that require you to hug enemies because of your massive loss in accuracy and you start getting downed every engagement.
On maya, I'll use anything that has range, and elemental. On zer0, snipers, shotguns, pistols, and smg's, the occasional assault rifle. Axton, Snipers, SMG, Assault rifles, pistol, shotgun(God damn do I miss Rolands shotgun skills) Sal, AR's and pistols and shotguns
Similarly to BL1, sniper rifles work for just about everyone.

Well level 49 and just beat bunker on second playthrough and I'm having 0 problems with accuracy and I only die from falling off shit or from some bosses.
Hey, is anybody else [sp]who's too poor to afford Borderlands 2 so they want to settle for Borderlands 1 instead[/sp] getting these General Protection Faults when they try to start the first Borderlands? I've tried EVERYTHING. I've verified cache, reinstalled all the pre-requisites, uninstalled the game, deleted, all the saves, reinstalled it, uninstalled it again, and I've done just about everything in between, and yet nothing has been working.
though haven't played with any level 50 sirens so not sure on that one.
I've died a lot once I hit 50 as maya. Before that, phaselock easily kills weaker enemies in one shot (cataclysm & half of motion) and with the vortex you could kill multiple enemies. Now though it's like it hardly does anything. I've got it on ridiculously fast cooldown so it definitely helps, but I'm a lot more reliant on my guns than I was before. I might try re-specing and see what other builds work better. Might have to put some in healing, don't have any in it now.
TL;DR - Phaselock is amazing until 50.
A shame BL2 doesn't have an active modding community; pilotable Buzzards would be pretty badass (Buzzards are the gyrocopter kind of thingys right?)
I loved the batman reference.

Not to mention Donkey Mong and the achievement you get for killing it. "Definitely an italian plumber!"

Well wasn't there one in the first game called "my brother is an italian plumber" or something similar where you had to kill a skag by jumping on it? I think that's where the "definitely" comes from

I noticed this pretty early and respec'd to make phase lock more supportive than offensive. I put in half the Harmony Tree and the rest in Motion. Sweet Release, Wreck, Accelerate and Suspension work awesome together with a good SMG. You can just lock up something and let it pull a nice pool of cannon fodder to you unload on. Inertia and AOE grenades work fantastic with it.
