Is the gameplay more fun than the last one? I found it rather dull
Way more fun.
Cool, why exactly?
Way more fun.
Eh, if you didn't like the first one, you might like the second one, but I wouldn't bet on it.
It's not that much more interesting gameplay wise to be honest.
Yeah. That's what I thought.
First one was cool for a while, I kind of missed the point by playing it singleplayer (on console) but it was alright for a while. Problem was despite there being THOUSANDS OF GUNS111!1 it just felt like it was like eight guns in different colours and stats
That and the quests didn't feel to fufilling either. Running over skags was fun though
Gameplay kind of feels like just a tiny step forward with story, visuals, music, etc all being amazing improvements.

Vehicles are a lot more fun in this one.
Though, they're not instant death machines anymore.
They ragdoll enemies you hit, which does a lot less damage than just shooting them.

That might do it for me

Yeah they were OP as fuck
I think one of the best things they did to borderlands 2 story-wise was revealing in subtle ways what happend to some of the not-so-inspiring characters from the first game. I mean, in [sp]Lynchwood[/sp] it's revealed by the [sp]sherrif[/sp] that [sp]brick killed shep sanders for selling out new haven. Knowing brick, his death was quite brutal and was therefore banished from sanctuary[/sp] and also seeing [sp]lucky's funeral[/sp] after [sp]scooter killed him, like he proclaimed in the first game [/sp]

[sp]"Knowing Brick"? They straight-up TELL YOU what he did to Shep Sanders, it doesn't require that big a brain to work out.[/sp]
Where is doc mercy?

Three Horns Valley, the cave between the two entrances to the area from the Divide, it's where you do that quest from Zed that introduces you to E-Tech weapons
BL1 lacks things to shoot and has skags everywhere.
What are you, a member of the Skag Protection Society?
What are you, a member of the Skag Protection Society?
Skags Я' Us.

Does he respawn like any other, aka can you farm him? Or do you need to be on a specific point of the quest?

Haven't revisited him myself but I'd assume you can like every other boss
I can't wait until willowtree is updated, crafting guns is what kept me playing bl1 for so long after I finished every last thing. Plus, the loot is 99% ass in BL2.
What exactly is pt 2.5?
Is it just pt2 at 50 or can you restart the whole game on the char a 3rd time?

Pt2 at level 50.
Should i do side missions on pt2 ?
When you hit level 50 and defeat the final boss all enemies in the game are scaled to level 50, bosses to 52, and all undiscovered side quests are scaled to 50 with appropriate rewards.
Right now there is a bug that causes PT2.5 not to take even after fulfilling both requirements.
Should i do side missions on pt2 ?
I did side missions to 50 then saved the rest until 2.5. If there was a particular quest reward you want though like a good shotgun or something you should just skip it and wait for 2.5.
I can't kill that goddamn thresher that has the homing beacon for sanctuary, i mean it's literally a one hit down for me. fucking GODDAMMIT SO PISSED. It doesn't help all the goddamn loaders want to shoot me instead of the giant fucking tentacle monster flipping crates everywhere.

What level are you and what weapon are you using? I beat him with a Tediore triple-barrel. If you get really desperate and you don't mind doing things differently, I'd be willing to join you or you could just open the game to public.
I'm level 40 and he's level 42, the goddamn exponential damage model is ridiculous.
How the fuck do you kill Saturn. At the moment I'm resorting to the cheap method of picking it off with my rapid-fire sniper rifle, but this entails going back to the ammo vendor about 4 times.
Playthrough 2 obvs

I've found that there's a spot near the respawn where he'll just launch his suicide drones at you over and over, but they'll hit the fences/junk just in front of you. Still takes forever to kill him, but at least he won't be doing any damage to you.

Hide behind a wall, spam everything.
Yeah I managed to do it pretty easily, just irritating that it requires so much bulletspam. Feels so... cheap.
saturn itself is cheap. It's just thrown at you, with a high level, and no weakpoints. Not a warning or anything is given to you. Just BAM FACE FUCK.

At least it looks really fucking cool though.
anyone else a bit sad that crab worms didn't return? they were some of my favorite enemies.
