I don't hear much about Maya's Thoughtlock skill. Does it work with Converge, Helios, or Sweet Release? Everyone seems to be passing it up for Ruin.

I know for sure it works with converge, probably for the other ones I would assume. Thoughtlock isn't that good anyway. If it made the enemy that's under the effects of it more powerful, as in does more damage and takes less damage, then maybe I'd consider using it. Right now it's just a distracting tool, which can be useful in a pinch.

So question. I recently wiped my hard drive (twice) and reinstalled borderlands, but when I installed it and all the stuff that steam installs when it's run for the first time, it tells me I need the latest version of C++ to run it or something like that. It won't install it again for me either, and I can't run borderlands 2 because of this. How to fix?

Oh thank god. I was trying to get it for my friend, but since we was offline I tried adding it to my account to gift it later, and thought I just activated it and wasted it. I felt horrible until I saw this. :v:

Although I do get free games all the time though my line of work, this code came with my EVGA 660 TI 3G Superclocked. Two more on the way too, gonna 3-way SLI this baby tomorrow. The other codes I will be giving away on my Facebook, and twitter.
I'm surprised that [sp]jumping off that tower wasn't an optional objective to the quest. Everything else Brick suggested to do was.[/sp]
What I find shocking is that both Mordecai and Handsome Jack were [sp]Scooter's stepdads[/sp] and that Marcus is [sp]Scooter's dad (IIRC)[/sp] according to a few of the sidequests midway into the game.
The people I'm doing my first playthrough with are never online at the same time, and if they are, they're not in the mood to play.

on playthrough 2 I had a jakobs assault rifle that had a minigun barrel that shot 3 bullets at once.
it did 8500~x3 damage.

I stuck with it for about 10 levels
So I got around to completing all side quests for the achievement, "[B]Did It All[/B]" and got something strange in my quest log:

I usually stuck to torgue rifles except for a jakobs one I found earlier.

That quest is in the wildlife explotation area. I don't think you need to complete it for the acheivment due to it being a DLC.
