Jack is an awesome villian. I love the way he calls you the "bad guys", and seems to legitimately think he's the good guy, when he constantly threatens to torture and murder people in terrible ways, and ultimately plans to rule the world by killing everyone else.

He's the best villain I've seen in a while. I was doubtful that they could top Knoxx but I guess they showed me. While you can't really compare the two (they have completely different personalities etc) Jack is definitely better at being a real [I]villain[/I]. He's ruthless, cunning, hilarious and there were a few times where I was literally like "holy shit this guy is nuts."

I've beaten the whole game as melee Zer0, the early levels aren't so great but after you get the ability to dash in decepti0n it gets a lot more fun
I've also tried respeccing to the middle tree and the throwing daggers are pretty powerful

mind you most of them were bandits, but think of all the hyperion personnel
which brings me to another thing that made me laugh
the whole idea behind the bandits is that they're dehumanized assholes and it's nobody's loss that they're dying ("ah, i'm kidding, SCREW those guys" - claptrap)
the joke with the hyperion personnel is that they're not bandits, they're like legitimate family men and they say hilariously "normal" stuff just because they are
on death:
"almost finished my comic book collection"
"i was almost promoted too"
"he retired in three days!"

Only thing that bugs me is that he seems like he's just saying that as a excuse to get power, [sp]but when he seems legitimately distraught over the death of Angel, it seems like he really does believe he's the hero, but all the horrible things he does, such as killing the children of an employee because he was skeptical of one of Jack's ideas, makes that hard for me to believe he could have the cognitive dissonance to believe that in even a setting like borderlands. [/sp]Still one of the best villains ever though.
They knew what they signed up for.

Yeah, but while some of the heroes are canonically murdering assholes, none of them are at least child slaughtering assholes.
Found an e-tech sniper on my salvador. Not much use, but I was kind of excited to actually find one that wasn't from a quest or a golden crate. Also, I think I glitched [sp]AI core 1340[/sp]. I sold the shotgun because I didn't like how it compared to my other ones, and I equipped a pistol in it's place. Some hyperion, electric pistol. It kept talking in the voice of [sp]#1340[/sp] v:v:v

I just don't like hyperion guns in general.

[sp]That whole scene with Angel was way more powerful than I expected from a game like Borderlands 2. I was legitimately floored when Jack screamed 'GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER!' Then continued to nearly go into hysterics 'You're really going to end the life of an innocent girl to get to me?'
Handsome Jack might be a raging asshole, but I'd be lying if I didn't have a brief feeling of moral ambiguity in that sequence. Then he murdered Roland and captured Lilith and he was back to full-on asshole. Really well done.[/sp]

As for Clan War, you should [sp]side with the Hodunks because the Zafords have a chance to drop a masher-style legendary revolver. If you don't, you have to farm it out of other bosses who have a lower table weight for it. Feels bad man.[/sp]

The Hyperion TMP's and Shotguns focus [I]really[/I] quickly though.

Not a fan of Hyperion SMGs but you have to admit, they can make a damn good shotgun and their rifles aren't bad either.
Hyperion guns would be a lot more tolerable if their "beginning" accuracy/recoil wasn't horrendous.
Anyone know if Gearbox said anything about some people getting FPS issues with that last patch? My game is really jittery now.
