There are a bunch of boxes in the Wildlife place that often contain midgets. On my first playthrough, I opened all 4 boxes at once and got slaughtered by 3 different kinds of midget.

My thought was that they up the dmg to metric fuckton level but makes it so it depletes your entire sheild and has a little longer recharge rate.

One of the main points of the game is to find awesome items. It defeats the purpose if you are going to nerf it because "it's too awesome."
This game isn't based on competitive PVP, it's PVE.

I think that it defeats the whole premise of difficulty once you get it though
I mean taking out the final boss and one of the hardest to kill ones, so called 'invincible' in 7 seconds isnt the point of end game gear

By that logic we should have enemy scaling like Oblivion.
I'd agree in 99.99% of cases that in a game thats entirely PVE, having "unbalanced" items often adds to the appeal of the game but the bee is just a little bit too crazy imo.
I don't understand how they can nerf something in a game where it's only pve. Like... does it matter? at all?
I've been using a level 26 bee shield since I got it

Hardly, you can only effectively kill bosses with it, conference call isn't that great without the bee because sometimes the extra shots don't even show up due to walls blocking them, and if you're surrounded by enemies the bee will be down anyways because you'll be shot at.

I think bosses are a little bit more important than "only".
Is there a .ct available that modifies the drop chance of legendary weapons ? I've killed [sp]bonehead 2.0[/sp] a gazillion times but he refuses to drop the weapon.
I guess one way to temp avoid the nerf is to make BL2 not autoupdate and tell your friends to do the same.
Probably what I will do on PS3 until I can beat terra once.
So I just found out how to give myself unlimited money and make my characters whatever level I want...
