What's the max player amount for servers?
I don't think there is one, it's defined by the mission.
So anyone that had alot of struggle with the performance on ArmA 2 that runs this game good?
Because my computer can max all games exept ArmA 2 and Planetside 2, need to know :v:
I like the small details like when I remove my diving goggles, my view is all fuzzy and blurred in the water.
Heh I had the view bug in the video happen when I was standing on a bridge with an exploded hunter sticking into it.

Very similar to mine, except I've got a 7850.
I finally got word back from my support email I sent them about two hours ago about not being able to get a download key.

So me and my friend are just driving along on the escape mission, I'm sat on the gunner seat, just enjoying the new sweet-ass PiP... and then this.

Oh thats cool, Arma 3 uses the same volumetric clouds from Take One Helicopters
I'm kind of torn on the new helicopter handling, it's rather odd coming from Arma2 background. Worst part is the increased ground friction, it's something like quadrupled from A2 and makes high horizontal speed (50+ kph) landings with the A/MH9J Littlebird practically impossible without breaking something, whereas in A2 you could skid along the ground for a bit.

Basically: as long as you could run ArmA 2, you can run ArmA 3 better.
I'm playing at 1080 with high overall (very high textures), 2x AA, high dynamic lights and no post processing and get about 35-40fps on an i5200, 4GB RAM and a 670 Overclocked.
Some people playing on Ultra with similar/worse cards though?
I also get stutter now and then.
Anyone got a server up?
Those specops are damn cool with their 4096x4096 textures :)
Anyone who has an extra arma 3 guest pass? I want to know if my computer can run it.
And also play the shit out of the sandbox!
:>

Anybody got a classlist yet?
Will make a mish or two for tonight, but assigning equipment is hard without a list.
So is it true that it natively supports ArmA II weapons and vehicles?
Fuck i wanted to be one of the first 500 to buy the Supports Edition, Shop site is dead for me for a long time now
Is there a way in the editor to just tell it to randomly spawn a bunch of units in an area? I just wanna put together a mission where I'd just have to clear out an area from opfor
Fuck i wanted to be one of the first 500 to buy the Supports Edition, Shop site is dead for me for a long time now
From what I'm seeing, they're doing something to accommodate people buying the supporter edition who have had trouble because of the issues.
Fuck it, bought the alpha edition.
Will be willing and able test dummy for low-end systems in a few hours :suicide:

A quick and easy way for randoms, is to setup a group with the lead unit set to be 50% likely to be there with a random radius. Then just multiple groups.
Without secops or scripting it's hard to predict though, and you can't have random numbers within the group easily.
Ugh store page will not open. How long has it been down?

You can put in infratny/civs squads, on the far left of the editor is an icon with a group of three people, select that and double click where you want the squad on the map. Give you options to edit class type and assign rank / commander and so on.

God speed. I was tempted to download it on my laptop since I'm away from home this week.
The ingame camera-feed display screen is fucking cool.

Nope. Nothing like that has been officially stated.
