There is a reason why i made this thread. Now please stop arguing about this i'm just asking this simple question or is asking things forbidden in this forum?
why did you make this thread?
Because thats the whole point of the thread?..
So the point of the thread in your view is to post how dumb it is to you and that this guy won't experience something in reality? Okay then.
I'm aware that actually taking LSD is vastly different to playing a game that attempts to simulate the sensations and stimuli you may experience while under the effect of it. And I'm aware that real life warfare is much different to warfare found in a videogame. But I'm also aware that there are significant risks in putting yourself in a situation where you can experience either in real life, taking this into consideration asking for a safer alternative isn't exactly deplorable.
I'll agree to this. Although I think comparing a relatively safe drug such as LSD to warfare to be a bit extreme.
I'll agree to this. Although I think comparing a relatively safe drug such as LSD to warfare to be a bit extreme.
I was referring more to the acquisition of the drug and the consequences of being found with it in your posession more than the consumption of it, I'm sure it's probably pretty safe if use it correctly.
Not really a complete one, but when you smoke in Saints Row 2, everything gets all wavy.
So the point of the thread in your view is to post how dumb it is to you and that this guy won't experience something in reality? Okay then.
Wow. No. He's asking for a game that accurately depicts being on drugs, something that you wont find.
LSD is not a safe drug, no drug is safe, as long as there are risks you cannot say it is safe.
Oh my god...
Didn't Max Payne 2 have one? I think it did but I can't remember.
I was referring more to the acquisition of the drug and the consequences of being found with it in your posession more than the consumption of it, I'm sure it's probably pretty safe if use it correctly.
Okay. Fair enough.
LSD is not a safe drug, no drug is safe, as long as there are risks you cannot say it is safe.
Caffeine addicts, risktakers living on the edge.
LSD is not a safe drug, no drug is safe, as long as there are risks you cannot say it is safe.
Lets look back at what I said
I think comparing a relatively safe drug such as LSD to warfare to be a bit extreme.

relatively safe
By your standards nothing is safe, everything has risks associated with it.
Wow. No. He's asking for a game that accurately depicts being on drugs, something that you wont find.
I haven't seen him state in the OP that it has to be accurate, plus "Something that you won't find?" Pretty sure there are games that might have near-accurate scenes that depict such things.
By your standards nothing is safe, everything has risks associated with it.
Correct.
Accurate representation of an easter egg experience in a videogame.
Damn i should have changed the thread name to Durgs discussion thread I may experiment with this in the Source engine, i'm not expecting good results but i could try...
It is a hard thing to acuratly depeict, simply because a drug experiance is more about the way you feel and think, annd less about what you see
Drug experiences, the way you feel think, see and move and act, vary from person to person, there is no way to accurately depict either way, but you can depict it near-accurately in films, games or other forms of media.
There was some trippy game that was released on steam around Christmas, Ill see if I can find it.
Why do threads that involve the discussion of drugs always attract at least one person with a marijuana Avatar?
Drug experiences, the way you feel think, see and move and act, vary from person to person, there is no way to accurately depict either way
Yes.
you can depict it near-accurately in films, games or other forms of media.
Please show me an example.
For fuck sake, my next door neighbours are smoking it out front of their house again.
Yes. Please show me an example.
High chance you'll probably disagree, but these games have some scenes that depict drugs with some accuracy, Max Payne 2, Postal 2, GTA series, one of Metro 2033's easter eggs. I am sure there are more, but I can't be bothered to find them.
because we are brought here by the devil to tempt the pure into a life of a sinner.
That was awful.
Join them.
No, they're chavvy scumbags that i want to destroy.
