We did it a hour before it was supposed to start so who cares anymore just get the ship on all your characters.

Just got myself both the Odyssey and Bortas, now I just have to get to the level needed to fly them. Unfortunately, I can't really play any more right now because it seems like the servers are really lagging or maybe my internet is.
Also for some reason I couldn't start the Q mission for the Klingons, the Federation one worked fine.

Naming my ship will be easy. Seeing as how I have a Mexican general theme going on, the flagship will be the Santa Anna. Which means it will either kill everyone or get caught sleeping under a tree and surrender. Given the turn rate, I believe this is appropriate.
I name my ships after Dutch marine vessels.
I name my ships after famous people or Star Trek characters
The USS Fontaine is probably my favorite name though, To bad you can't re-use them.

I name my ships based on how they've come, so far:
The first was the Venndicator.
Second is the Venndicator-R. Third will be Venndicator-E, etc etc.
For numbers, I use NCC-5651771-V, NCC-5651772-V, etc.
Keep it nice and easy.
I've been naming my Federation ships after Bajoran stuff because my character is part Bajoran.
The Klingon ships I just name randomly or keep the name it came with because I don't know how to come up with good Klingon names.
