I liked it, just a bit buggy, i was for example stuck in the room with the diplomats for several minutes while my team mates where killing jem'hadar on the promenade.
I think the account server is down. Timing out when connecting to it.

If you can find yourself enjoying the gameplay, then it'd just be another MMO. At the very least, there's no reason not to give it a try since it's free.
Out of curiosity, has anyone come across a quest involving a holodeck going awry? Since it's pretty much a requirement for a holodeck to break and let a homicidal historical figure loose.

It's a good game even if you haven't watched the series. Though if you watch TNG or DS9 (Esepicially DS9 with the 2800 missions going on now.) your appreciation will skyrocket.
My friend who plays and hasn't watched a single episode loves it. He's going to start watching TNG now.
Never seen an episode of Star Trek (any series) and am loving this game. When I heard a Star Trek MMO went F2P I didn't expect it to be this much fun.

great i cant finish the episode because when i transfer down to ground combat it spits me out
I had no issues with it.
The mission simply ended when I warped to Bajor and got the items.

You can buy it with dilithium, bit it will cost alot, like 50 000+.
i see what happened now, i started another mission in that episode somehow and it shat itself.

From what I've seen of the game, it looks like EVE Online, atleast during the spaceship battles.

I would gladly get a C-store ship but im a poor peasnt.(Also all C-store ships are stupidly killtastic)
I just bailed out the fleetbank with 7 million EC.
For some reason, every time I complete "Doomsday Machine" the mission doesn't recognize it and give me a reward, nor does it count as completed. Now I can't finish the Klingon War.

I've been wondering, does it matter if you use a science ship if you're tactical?
So far I've been using them because they looked better in my eyes, and I don't really want to give up a chance to fly a intrepid class, but I could settle with the Defiant class if need be.

Same here, going to hit Commander within the first 45 minutes after maintenance, going to switch over to Escort, the cruiser is too slow for me and it can't use the heavy cannons. (And what's the ETA for server re-opening?)

I made a Tactical Character and i love it. Especially the ships, i bought 2 Dual heavy cannons for my Escort and it kicks ass, get an enemy shield down to zero in no time.
The only issue i have is to have to replay the Klingon and Romulan campaigns.
I'm a tactical players who has played all escorts, but for some reason I can't stop playing with my Odyssey. I like it.
I don't like the odyssey at all. BOF slots are just awkward and the turn rate is just ridiculous.

So I found that Boarding Party is pretty much the best ability ever.

Just the concept alone is amazing, and the 3 second shield/weapon shutdown is orgasmic.
Tactical team is pretty boss, too, the way they automatically and nearly instantly rearrange shields is awesome.
I love having my own fleetbank slot but not being allowed to deposit anything into it!
