I remember pre-ordering the collector's edition of STO, and getting bored of it after three months around level 38. The "Gorn" were just green-skinned models made in the character editor instead of the custom modelled Gorn we have now. I started playing it again a week ago and have been enjoying myself tremendously. Lots of new content and the game has improved so much.
It's nice to see it do so well and without requiring C-store purchases to get anywhere.
