Autofire was NEVER removed.
Is this game worth getting? I'd love to fly about in a fleet with a bunch of other guys and shoot things up.

Is it fun? I'll definitely give it a try. Can't play it at the moment, away from my PC, but in a week or so when I can play it, it'd be good to know what to expect.
if youre in to star trek, yes its lots of fun
otherwise its a pretty standard MMO

I disagree, standard mmos dont have badass space battles. I wasnt in to star trek when I downloaded and I thought it was a lot of fun.

And yes you can go to the bridge, crew quarters, and engineering, no shuttlebay access yet though sadly.

I used it for periods of time. There was a time when it bugged out, but never removed. Yes, there were plenty of notices on the forum.

I've never watched star-trek in my life, and I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed most other MMOs, so yeah

You should watch every singe episode of evey series and the movies and you'll probably understand more of the ingame story.

Logged in after last time playing being release. no idea what the fuck I'm doing, where I am and all skill points reset etc.
maybe i should just start new
They changed the skill point system last year so they let you reset your points.
oh earth spacedock looks so different, still not gotten anywhere. So much shit to look at compared to release.
Kinda want to play again but damn I feel like I would grasp everything better if I started over, unsure if worth it, clicked a load of shit that appeared as I logged in. Apparently I'm 44 and had the 2 escorts that were at level cap at release. Just curious to how long it takes to get to that point again because I'm unsure what to skill etc... which I get often when trying to go back to an MMO that has changed a lot since the last time I played.
Just kinda need pointing in the right direction really.
