No harpies spawn more often but I do agree about it not being in the mini bosses section. Maybe some of the more unique enemies should be in a category together such as: Pinky, Wyvern, Clown, and the special zombies

I used a Phoenix Blaster and Meteor Shot with full Necro Armor myself. Aside from having to idiot proof hell a bit(cover up some lava pools), it was actually pretty easy.

I've already said once I add in a section describing hard mode I'm going to move it to the end of the normal mode bosses section. For now since the only hard mode stuff I've added is just bosses, it fits better with the three hard mode bosses.

What I did was I used a water walking potion and blue moon. I beat him with the demon scythe and breaker blade now. I'm trying to get a clockwork assault rifle

Gold is more rare than demonite for me. What I had to do was keep spelunking around for hours on end in my biggest cave to find it. My advice for you is use a spelunker potion or keep searching

didn't know eye of cthulu spat flames and lasers, oh and eater of worlds launched probes and fired lasers. by your logic that's like saying Terraria is MC just a 2-d version of it.

yeah my first try was terrible, i ran into a building that was all teh way to the cieling and floor and got stuck.
and since WoF was nearly dead i got rapid laser death xD.
so i blew up the terrain around the building and took the building down.
How do you guys think a space biome would ever be made? They already sort of have the sky go black when you go high enough. Maybe a Super Mario Galaxy style system. There'd only be one planet with my idea and when you go high enough your guy simply flips over like with a gravitation potion and lands on the other planet and the camera flips.

They're still only available during hardmode- "Hardmode bosses" and they're still very clearly robotic versions of the original bosses, there's no "Wall of Metal" or anything like that, you still fight the same boss when you go to hell, you still fight the Eye of Cthulhu when you summon him in hardmode. But we're all pretty sure it's not a huge deal.

It can also be found in the underworld's rooftop. That's how I found most of my adamantite
I destoryed 2 shadow orbs and the proper text also appeared. Then my server was offline for a while and then I destroyed another shadow orb that should summon EoW. Nothing happened, no text! Destroying 2 more shadow orbs(text appeared) and a 3rd one did nothing again. Using Worm Food didn't work anymore either. Why would this happen? Why can't I summon EoW?

There were a few people in the last thread that had this problem and the only fix they found was to unlock hardmode

Personally I think something like a rocket and a map-screen would do interplanetary travel justice.
In terms of the rocket, it should be constructed somehow, rather than crafted whole. Maybe have something like a "Construction Pad" material made of special blocks striped yellow-and-black, where you can place the pre-crafted pieces of a vehicle to build it. Needless to say, a space rocket would need a lot of components; the boosters would need many Flamethrowers and Buckets, fuel tanks filled with Slime Gel, reinforced Glass for windows, a BASTARD load of Iron or Cobalt for the hull, a fuckton's worth of Souls of Flight to make the rocket light enough to easily take off, and plenty of wires and stuff to get all the shiny buttons twinkling on the dashboard.
Concerning other planets, defeating Cthulhu should unlock the Moon or Mars as the first world you could go to, maybe if he drops some kinda "star-map". Further-away planets would require more Gel to get to that nearer ones, though.

I think the rocket should be available near Molten/shadow armor; but; higher rewards lay in with higher durability rocketships. The first ship could just consist of enough fuel and iron to land you on a small planet full of gold/iron; shit you don't need.

Yeah, I feel like it shouldn't be available right after Cthulu, I think it should be a later game thing, and the new planets get progressively harder, much harder than 'earth' or whatever it is considered.

Man I suck at this game. I started about a week ago. I tried to fight The Eye of Cthulu, I got it's health down half way and then it raped me. Can anyone suggest some weapons that work well (that aren't impossible to get)
Buy a bunch of throwing stars or whatever they're called in-game from the merchant. (~500 or so if it's your first time beating him.)
Goddammit, how do you stop the corruption in hardmode? And how do you remove it?
Lots of purification powder and clay to cordone off the areas you've cured, but corruptors make the job a pointless struggle, and one missed block spawns corruptors. Your best bet is to just get better gear and literally deal with it.
Or you could buy a crap ton of hallowed seeds or make holy water and pray for the best.
i want purge water. it gets rid of both hallow and corruption
and i wish sunflowers didnt get destroyed by corruption. they were useless before hardmode and now they're even more useless.
literally the only time we need them is when they dont do shit
