Having the actual code would make mods much better though. They'd be more easily compatible and the community could set up some sort of mod API.

So, they added a massive update for free, that added a TON of content to the game and you're not satisfied? Would it be better if the game just cut to credits after you kill all the hard mode bosses and go, that's it. No more.

There should be an actual endgame at the very least. Sure people should still be allowed to play after that but at this point it just randomly ends after beating the hard mode bosses. There's no final boss or anything like that.
