I ain't seen one either OR a Ruby. It sucks since I want to complete my set of Jungle Armour for my collection; it gives me a goal to achieve before I go to Hell.
Also, I heard that the Underground Jungle usually has more Gems than other biomes, so it'd make sense to search there if you don't mind the Man Eaters covered in bees. I've almost got the full Jungle Armour, and after that i'll go to Hell, hit a lick on some Hellstone and go ham on it with all my Obsidian, until I have enough bars to make everything I need to fight the Wall of Flesh and unleash the forces of light and darkness upon the world.
Second to last objective for pre-hardmode, for me, would be building a "fallout shelter" for my NPCs, basically a place where they go to get away from Goblins and Blood Moons, since they're all inept pansies that apparently don't know how to swing a sword.
I suddenly feel like making a red and blue (out of diamonds) phasesabre just to be an asshat.
I've got like 60+ of each gem, except for diamonds, I've only got 6 of those. Even in a small world they're rare as hell.

As far as I know, neither can spread over the other.
It depends of what it is most of, for example if you throw a holy grenade or pop a hallowed seed in the corruption, it will eventually be consumed unless you cover the entire ground with it.
Really? Could've sworn I saw a Corrupted desert hallow on one of the maps back on my server when it just came out...

They can't spread onto eachother. They just kind of stop when they meet.

Full Blood Moons on Hardmode are ridiculously hard. Half my NPCs always die
What would happen if you used a Battle Potion during a Blood Moon? (also have I already asked this?)

I think they are easier. Actually, all hard-mode blood moons are easier than normal-mode because there are no NPCs to break down doors, sure werewolves can do this, but they can be defeated easily with a weapon with high knockback.
I should probably also mention that on hardmode, never put NPCs in your basement, instead, rig up a dart trap with a delay trigger.

Combine it with a water candle to spawn a lot of creatures. Teddyprimm (if that was his name) used this while in space on a server and it started raining harpy wings :v:

Gems are a little too rare in my opinion. Especially considering it takes like 1 gem and 6 torches to get colored torches. If gems are that rare it should take and give more torches.

How come; are there bloodworm demons that spawn in basements nowadays? Or will they end up returning to their houses once you leave the bunker?

Probably cause people were abusing them. I think he mentioned something about people doing that a page or two ago.

Darkgodmaste's server is too.. restrictive. No flower of fire allowed, no hallow/corruption on the entire map, anywhere, huge sections of cheated in areas that are blocked from people building there (it even blocked my weapons at one point, so I got raped by mummies)
I understand it's probably so restrictive because it's meant to be a build server but damn

as much as i hate to say it, i agree completely with you. i liked the feeling of actually creating a town and having everything go out from there. on canary's server, there was a war between the hallow and corruption over the town. it ended with both sides completely destroyed.
as you are unable to even build with pearlstone or make hallow or make a cool corruption lair in dark god's server, there isnt much to do at all.

But I really do think you should ease the restrictions on your server.
Biotics server is cursed, we had 2 meteorites land at once and 2 goblin armies invade at once (and then the bosses turned up and got slaughtered)
