It's angry, it has been griefed too much. It has come back to haunt you.
My full Meteorite armor and space gun says otherwise.
It's angry, it has been griefed too much. It has come back to haunt you.
I gave that server some dynamite, servers love dynamite.
I gave that server some dynamite, servers love dynamite.
I gave it a wonderful system of a defense and some nice flickering lights.
I ain't seen one either OR a Ruby. It sucks since I want to complete my set of Jungle Armour for my collection; it gives me a goal to achieve before I go to Hell. Also, I heard that the Underground Jungle usually has more Gems than other biomes, so it'd make sense to search there if you don't mind the Man Eaters covered in bees. I've almost got the full Jungle Armour, and after that i'll go to Hell, hit a lick on some Hellstone and go ham on it with all my Obsidian, until I have enough bars to make everything I need to fight the Wall of Flesh and unleash the forces of light and darkness upon the world. Second to last objective for pre-hardmode, for me, would be building a "fallout shelter" for my NPCs, basically a place where they go to get away from Goblins and Blood Moons, since they're all inept pansies that apparently don't know how to swing a sword.
I pretty much skipped Gold,Jungle and Meteorite armor(and tools),when I killed EoC in silver armor and started pimping out with Demonite,I realized I could whoop the EoW's ass,and then Skeletron's ass,and the dungeon's ass,and the non-existence of a hellevator's ass.Currently,I'm whoopIng the Underworld's ass in the name of getting flaming armor aww yeah
Molten Armour's pretty badass, I often wear it as vanity clothing when I'm not using my dapper tuxedo and top hat :v:
I gave it a wonderful system of a defense and some nice flickering lights.
So it was you! With your music and pink fairy and suspiciously shaped projectiles.
Well, i'm probably not as "pro" as you in your silver armour, even though I didn't really wear Gold Armour as Solomon, instead going on to Shadowscale and later going back to find Gold and make the Armour so I could put it in my "collection", 'cause that's one of my primary goals; to make every piece of armour in the game and put them on mannequins in my gallery near the mouth of my cave. I'll resign my Shadowscale Armour to the gallery once i've got full Molten, and THEN i'll do battle with that great big feral kebab, after first relocating my base further underground, since the surface'll likely be too hazardous once the forces of Light and Dark are loose... I should probably quarantine the Corruption(s) with uncorruptable bricks before unleashing the forces, though. Does that work?
Oh shit oh fuck, the server just got griefed, all of our work is destroyed.... Fuck.
I should probably quarantine the Corruption(s) with uncorruptable bricks before unleashing the forces, though. Does that work?
No. You can contain the Corruptions already in your world, sure, but Hardmode will make a brand new one, which you'll then have to either quarantine or deal with. Another option is spreading hallow to prevent the spread of Corruption, but some think the cure is worse than the disease. Even if you do manage to quarantine all your Corruption, you'll still have Corruptors following you out of the biome, and they're bound to land a hit in your clean land sooner or later.
Oh shit oh fuck, the server just got griefed, all of our work is destroyed.... Fuck.
Yeah, there's barely anything left, some wood walls and blocks left.
I wish there were a simple mod to only ban certain chosen items like dynamite on servers. Also, biotic is finally back! Have you tried making everyone fix their own work after griefing until lava floods the entire surface yet?

Might as well try anyway, even if cleanup's gonna be hellish. So what, does Corruptor spit just infect the block it lands on and then it spreads from there, or does the spit explode and corrupt the area in the blast radius? Either way i'll need plenty of Purification Powder.

It might penetrate 1-3 blocks deep, and about 4-5 blocks wide, slightly less than holy water affects I think. Edit: It's also a pain when you miss some just to find a mini-corruption next time you enter the area.
What should I do?
It infects a few blocks, then spreads like normal Corruption
Well, that doesn't sound as bad as I feared; if it doesn't spread super-fast I could just powder it before it got too bad. Unless they've nerfed the powder in Hardmode in which case it'll be problematic...
It's a pain when you miss some just to find a mini-corruption next time you enter the area.
Always carry with you purification powder it is purchased so it is easily obtained unless you spent all your money on reforging.

I wonder when the devs will add cobalt toilet paper, it would have the same use as the angel statue and be made by 100 cobalt ore or bars. It may also be placed on servers to brag about it.
Have you obtained enough to make three sets of Cobalt Armour, different hats included? If not, go on and do that, and don't forget the Mannequins.
I'll do it once I am done playing Skyrim, that game has stolen all my time now.
Have you obtained enough to make three sets of Cobalt Armour, different hats included? Just needed more souls from The Twins). Although he put it offline and I felt like making a better house anyway. We had all cobalt and mythril armor sets, but then again, that was with 3-4 of us.
The only thing I need for end game stuff is 60 Souls of sight (40 for the ranged and magic helmet and 20 for the bell). Is biotic still up, Skyrim may wait for now.
The only thing I need for end game stuff is 60 Souls of sight (40 for the ranged and magic helmet and 20 for the bell).
Might consider getting 20 for the Hallowed Repeater as well. It's a great ranged weapon, especially if you're not focused on ranged combat, because ammo is cheap and easy to find.
I'll do it once I am done playing Skyrim, that game has stolen all my time now.
Truth; i'd be playing that if it weren't for the fact my main PC's gone on the fritz again and it can't load to desktop. Well, that and the fact that i''l be back in college on Monday. I've been doing plenty of Terraria though; got all the NPCs except the Wizard and have good-tier equipment for the normalmode endgame. One more thing; do you think there should be a world-spawn option that has you spawn on the beach with a boat anchored just offshore, on the side of the world opposite to the dungeon? It'd have a better explaination of how you entered the world than if you spawn in the middle of the island, and would give the impression of you being an explorer from distant lands.
I have a megashark and a flamethrower isn't that good enough?
Yes, as do I, but I still use the Repeater sometimes :v:
Yes, as do I, but I still use the Repeater sometimes :v:
I guess it may be used for accurate long ranged attacks, like a sniper rifle. Now that I think about it, I should try to defeat the WoF more times just to get all the loot like the clockwork and laser rifle. [editline]8th January 2012[/editline] I started helping rebuilding a house at biotic's from this: [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/595832927263590888/9D92B480C0A7BAD041DF61666538E90D118AF5F3/[/t] To this: [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/595832927263592655/D482A45E960BC001596DA3B5974466C206145490/[/t] By the way, have anyone lost a 1 second timer on the server? They are quite rare on servers so I guess they may be valuable to some people, who doesn't want to loose a extremely useful wireing device? :v:
So anyone can clear this out to me? I have nice set of armor and stuff that i got from friend as "invite present" to Terraria. Now i don't know if i die (Yes, softcore. I want to relax not to be 1337) will i lose all my items? Also when does the corruption starts to spread?
