Are you going to buy Portal 2 for PC, PS3 or Both?

PS3= shit. PC= awesome
I prefer getting the PC version, because the PS3 never gets any updates. Look at this, http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Differences_between_Xbox_360,_PS3_and_PC_versions.
Correct, so I recommend PC
Steamworks = Immediate Updates in line with PC/Mac
Valve has only said it a million times.
See the video in the link:
Portal doesn't even have a multiplayer so I guess your second argument doesn't work so well.
How does the fact that the first didn't have multiplayer have anything to do with my post? We're talking about the sequel here. I bought Portal 1 on my PS3 first because I like gaming on my PS3. I rebought it for PC later.
Even more outside of the US, where games are more expensive (about 100 dollars here when released)
I'd like a link to currency ratios. I don't believe they could get away with $100 a game.

Uhm, it has everything to do with it. You said you'd buy it in PS3 because of the friends you have in it, I see no other reason to buy a game because of your friends if you aren't gonna play MP with them. And yes I know we're talking about the sequel, I said "Portal" referring to both games.

Yes they can. It's because of the taxes and everything, most of it goes to the government. I don't think I need to prove it.

And where exactly did I say I wasn't going to play with my friends?
You're mixing up my reason for buying the sequel with my reason for buying the original. I bought the first for my PS3 because I like playing games on my PS3. Simple as that. I'm getting the sequel on both for online co-op and because I like playing games on my PS3.

Taxes is a completely separate argument. If the extra $40 is in taxes, none of it goes to the developer, therefore they don't get any more money from the customers in Ireland than they do in the US.

Oh well that's a good argument but what's co-op anyway

Dude, what the fuck are you talking about?
How the fudge do you even play Portal on a console? The analogue sticks don't move fast enough.

1) You increase the sensitivity
2) You adapt to it and just get faster/more precise/ (admittedly) luckier

Co-op = Cooperation = Two robots in Online Play

I said Valve deserved double bucks since I liked their games so much, then you go off into something about $100 games having to do with taxes.
PC all the way.
PC the way Valve games are meant to be played.
PS3 will probably have steamplay (when it gets steam), so you'll probably be able to buy it for PC (which I will do) and then download it to ps3.
I only buy racing games for PS3
PC version, i hate playing FP games in consoles
Doesn't the ps3 version support steam cloud?
Would that mean i could get the pc version if i get the ps3 one?
Wii.
Pre-ordering on Steam when possible, pumped for the game.
PC
Also, why isn't XBOX 360 in the poll?
Or will it not be released on the XBOX 360?
Or maybe hes just not used to a shitty controller.
When I go to my friends and play a Call of Duty game with him on the 360, I cant aim worth shit. He usually wins.
When I am using a mouse, my aim is instantly better, and so are my reactions.
I plugged in an XBox controller. :smug:
360 and PC. I like Analogs but I like a mouse too.

Xbox version has no Updates which means no multiplayer.
PS3 AND PC, for Steam cloud and steam updating systems are going to the PS3, and rumour has it that steamplay is going to the PS3 aswell. Check out Sony's Confrence at E3, Gabe Newell anounces it.h
I've played FPS games on both PC and consoles, I can honestly say it's not that bad. Adjusting sensitivity helps alot. It's all about getting used to it. Of course the first time you play an FPS, or even if you don't play it that much with a console controller you'll likely be all choppy and whatnot, but that wouldn't change even if you hadn't played on a PC before.
I'm getting it for PC though. Hopefully I can run it.

um
PC. I don't own a PS3.
PC, as I don't, nor do I plan to, own a PS3.
PC, cuz yeah :smug:
PS3, The controller relaxes me.
PS3s are for rich kids who are in chess club
Ummm...
I have a PS3...
Don't hurt me.
PC because valve games are made to be played on a PC.
