The Ep3 credits song should be a remix of Tracking Device

This is silly, but I've always thought of this as the hl2 theme

That would be great too, especially if there was a big build-up with that music and the credits only started at 0:22.

That's the one I meant, it's called "Something Secret Steers Us" on the HL2 Soundtrack limited edition thingy that was released way back, if I recall correctly.
Although song27, the song played after leaving Ravenholm through a trainyard, is my favorite. I'd like to know it's real name, because I've simply called to it as Alien March, because I have nothing else to call it.

I love that song too. Its official name is Particle Ghost. I love it. The bits in the background and the start make it sound like its bouncing around the whole city, off the walls of the canals and stuff. I love the canals, great atmosphere.
Wait a second, nope, this is the best song:

Played following beating the Antlion Guard in Episode 1.
Title of that track is "Guard Down" (as in 'letting your guard down'), if you wanted to know, and yes, it's an excellent one.
Vortal Combat is my favorite by far.
Episode One's soundtrack had a great feeling to it, I hope they lean towards the general theme from Episode 1 in Episode 3, wich I consider to be songs that make you feel like you're not supposed to be there or uncomfortable. I also love the dark and gritty synths in EP1's soundtrack.
I like the Episode Two style with less-synths, more orchestral/rock duo.
Also.
Path of Borealis is not a valve song, it was a remix some fan made.
No, Path of Borealis was made by Viktor Antonov.
Title of that track is "Guard Down" (as in 'letting your guard down'), if you wanted to know, and yes, it's an excellent one.
Or as in 'you just killed an Antlion Guard'.

Man, that track always gives me the shivers. The Combine seem so much like the Nazis, except far, far worse, and much more terrifying.
Nothing beats the dark ambience of HL1 and HL2
Ep1 and Ep2 are too different
Or as in 'you just killed an Antlion Guard'.
It's used again in the Episode 2 Intro (Episode 1 recap) for the emotional/plot part recaps at the start.

MANLY TECHNO SHIT
fan made remix for ep1, is badass

What sorta creeps me out is the Combine female British announcer voice. She talks so casually.

Since when do art directors are responsible for music work?
"That Long Train Ride" by DJ Dain is a remix of Triage at Dawn (also known as HL2_song23_SuitSong3), which was originally composed by Kelly Bailey.
Since Half-Life 2: Episode Three is essentially the last part of Half-Life 3.
Uh... No? Half Life 2: Episodes 1, 2, and 3 is just a trilogy expanding on Half Life 2 while they work on Half Life 3 itself (Which is why it's called "Half Life 2: Episode X", not "Half Life 3: Episode X"
Also, I always preferred the HL1 version of the song to HL2's. HL2's just sounds too busy.
My favorite is Triage at Dawn. But yeah this should definitely be the credits song.
Is that suitsong?
Listen to Path of Borealis.
I like Vortal combat and whatever HL1Song10 was (Helicopter chase)

I've heard that before.
And I don't think it's for/from HL2.
Looking at description it was from JScoop, that makes sense. I played a lot of OC.
They shouldn't play that song. I never really liked it.
THIS should play:

I'm sending in a request for Valve to do this professionally.
Does anyone realize how fucking amazing they'd be if this was actually included in the next episode or as the ending of the Gordon Freeman saga?
I think the ending of EP3 should have light classical music playing from an old record player while Freeman sits with his back facing the camera looking over a frozen land with alyx at his side, gently leaning against him in an affectionate embrace.

No, but seriously Nuclear Mission Jam is the Half Life theme
It appears in HL1, HL2 and Episode 2
And it's my favorite only because of Opposing Force
Right next to Nuclear Mission Jam. I listen to the entire song first.
As for Tracking Device, yes. A new remix would be awesome. Except it is not HL3, it is the 3 extra stages of HL2BETA.
People rating this guy are wrong. Episode 1, Episode 2, and 3 contains the material that was cut out from Half-Life 2. Not all of them, but many.
The antlion cave was supposed to be in Half-Life 2, so did Borealis.
I remember in EP1 there was a song that started with a scream like thing that scared the fuck out of me when it first played. I thought there was a strider in the garage or something.

This?

Yep, that's the one. God that was freaky when I first heard it.
It fit perfectly for the introduction of the zombine.
hl2.blendtest, best piece from the alpha, even if it is just a test. Infact, all the alpha stuff is great, I love it.

Maybe, but in that case one that includes the episodes aswell,
but it all come´s down to how the game ends storyvise.

There's no Alpha Version.
