It's actually a great idea. It would add more variety to the game, for one thing. It would also make BIS one of the most progressive game developers, which could give them a publicity boost. But at the moment, I think optimization takes priority.

People have made custom "Domination", basically just a bunch of points with enemies.

You have to choose a role I believe.

Pick any of the roles that are grey and say "Nobody" and you'll get that position. Then you can join.

Also, I'm pretty sure you can't eject from helicopters simply because they haven't effectively implemented parachutes yet.

Also the goddamn multiplayer is all "WASTELAND COOP WASTELAND WASTELAND COOP WASTELAND". I just want to play some domination or just drop me in a town and let me shoot people.
I've made a bit of a sandbox mission with a domination vibe to it, it's called "General Sandbox Server" if anyone is interested and I'll probably have it up for an hour or so more. There's two enemy outposts you can clear but I intend to add more, there's not many scripts out and I'm not a very good mission maker but I think it's kind of neat.
So how hard would it be to get into a game like Arma 3 if you don't really like sim-type games?
I usually avoid these types of games, but what I've seen of this looks fun.

I tried making custom arma 2 maps before. My biggest issue was lack of direction, after I got past the mindfuck that is the interface I just sorta gave up due to lack of direction.
I might be able to do this, the biggest issue is creating the heightmaps.

Female soldiers were modded into Arma 2, no doubt someone'll mod another edition for Arma 3. Personally I think it'd be better modded, so you don't have retards running about as stripped women on vanilla servers. It'll be bad enough having stripped men acting like idiots.

I've only played ArmA 3 multiplayer on an Escape from Stratis server with 3 other FPers, and there was still the one guy that stripped down to just his helmet and weapons.
