Can someone post an example of CreateVehicle in Arma 3 ? I can't get it to work for some reason.
Yeah, back in ArmA 2, it was just plain hilarious.
Too bad they're Iranian.
That explains the thick Texan accents in the vehicle showcase.
They don't have any nationality in the alpha.

I want the Iranian faces to be available as a choice for the player's profile. I'm brown, dammit, not white or black. :c

Yeah in the alpha everyone speaks english.

I'm pretty sure half of the "white" faces are brown.
Any good stealth co-op scenarios that take use of silencers?

the names are iranian.
How does ARMA III run compared to ARMA II?
How does ARMA III run compared to ARMA II?
Its a bit of a tossup. On some systems, strangely enough it seems to be more common on less powerful ones, it runs amazingly well and far better than the original. On others, particularly with the most powerful systems, it runs abysmally. So really, no clue.
I get around 50-60 frames in both II and III. I have an i7@4.4ghz with a GTX560 1gb, and 8gb ddr3 1600mhz ram.
I'm building an entirely new rig in a couple of weeks so hopefully it'll work with my new set up or it'll be fixed by then. Going with an i7 3.6 GHz, 660Ti 2GB, and 32 GB of RAM. I'm waiting for the second half of the RAM to come in but otherwise I have everything ready to go and I'll be turning my current one in to a Dedicated Server.
Is it possible to go into first person (from the camera point of view) on the Hunters/Ifrits? I run with low quality PIP and it makes gunning for those vehicles very difficult.

Numpad 0
Is it possible to go into first person (from the camera point of view) on the Hunters/Ifrits? I run with low quality PIP and it makes gunning for those vehicles very difficult.
Not as far as I am aware, unfortunately.
Numpad 0
That didn't work for me, is that part of the binding setup if you change it to ARMA II in the options?

That setup will still have issues if it's not fixed, I got the same with an i7 3.5ghz and GTX670, 16gb ram. Extensive missions are slideshows.
We're still in the alpha stage, they have time to get things fixed.

ArmA 3 runs great with last drivers from ATI on my I5-550/HD 5750 rig.
Of course my graphical things arent completely up.
Whats wrong with my code? I can't seem to be able to end a cutscene: http://pastebin.com/8i2nczCv
Also might I just say that arma 3 is possibly one of the greatest games I have ever played.
Has Arma 3 the option to have non-toggle ironsights, in other words: hold a key instead, now? It's pretty much the only thing still keeping me from purchasing it.

Not at the moment. Request it in feedback tracker instead.

Numpad 0 should work for both Arma 2 and Arma 3 settings. Make sure you turn off numlock.
Alternatively, you could use control + RMB.

Right click.

Non-toggle ironsights wouldn't work at all in Arma, unless you like to be holding down the right mouse button for minutes non stop.

You're not buying it because of that?
Damn, that's just wow.
