I don't know why. But the feature I'm really looking forward to is the side step you can do when your character is already leaning. Will make checking corners a lot less of a hassle without needing to tap strafe and maybe over step it.
No, It has to download 2GB. I googled it and everything, It downloads additional files to complete installation.
That's not STEAM's fault, it's the developers
I just can't wait for ArmA III.
Track IR is nice for this... You can control how much you lean
But TrackIR only controls the view, you can't lean further around a corner to shoot with TrackIR
just saw some gameplay. The guy was on a heavy vehicle with this black & white cam, started shooting explosive shit and hit one guy, the dude fucking flew over with beautiful ragdoll physics...never thought i would see that in the arma series. Im buying this, no matter how.
Now we gon' have loads a pics with "ragdoll sex" with dead soldiers.
Now we need DayZ on Arma 3 :D But hot damn, this game looks way too sexy.
Have you been living under a rock or something?
where you saw it ?
I'm guessing he's talking about this.
I'm just excited for the working MFDs.
Now we need DayZ on Arma 3 :D But hot damn, this game looks way too sexy.
Do you have any idea what you're saying? DayZ basicly grabbed ArmA by the neck and twisted it. DayZ ruined ArmA and the wonderful and helpful community it once had, and replaced it by hackers, Russians and basic CoD kids that like joining Warfare servers and basicly shoot everyone on sight. WE HATE DAYZ Is that clear?
it's not that bad chill out dude
You hate DayZ more like.

WE HATE DAYZ Is that clear?
Honestly, I don't get why the ~ArmA~ community feels so exceptional. I've been playing since flashpoint and it's always been pretty standard (bad) and tinged with an annoying sense of elitism. Maybe I never got involved in the 'realism' circlejerk enough.
DayZ is fun and I'm glad DayZ brought me to buy ArmA II. [editline]1st March 2013[/editline] as in, I'm glad because arma is awesome

I'm already set on buying 'supporter' when it is out, but I wont be doing any milsim until ACE releases. More time to work release the stalker mod or start on the GMSurvival arma mission.
I'm on for Digital Deluxe, supporter is a tad much for me.

WE HATE DAYZ Is that clear?
Thats kind of funny, because the only decent and active warfare server is Warfare.RU, based in St.Petersburg and has been for YEARS. So I don't think its fair to blame one of ArmA's key communities. The issue is inexperience and people who intentionally decide to fuck over games because they think its funny.

And I agree on your last point, a lot of the people that generally break the team-play are the griefers. But still, back in 2010 I barely saw a hacker, one now and then but they weren't an actual problem, but these days hackers are like a mice infestation, when I join a server with 50 people on about 6 people are surely hackers and breaking the game, killing people and then about 3 passive hackers not interrupting anything.
where you saw it ?
don't tell him, he's a spy!
i might just order TrackIR for this. DICE/EA disappointed me with BF3, so this'll be my go-to over BF4.
If you like ArmA alot, you won't need a battlefield 4
i might just order TrackIR for this. DICE/EA disappointed me with BF3, so this'll be my go-to over BF4.
You could wait for Oculus Rift. The trackIR seems nice, but I'm a bit worried about needing to keep my eyes focused on the screen if I turn my head.
If you like ArmA alot, you won't need a battlefield 4
They're completely different games though. I can't see myself playing arma 24/7.
You could wait for Oculus Rift. [editline]1st March 2013[/editline]
They're completely different games though. I can't see myself playing arma 24/7.
I find ArmA more relaxed and less prone to bullshit deaths, if I die it's mostly my fault when it comes to ArmA.
the only problem I had with DayZ is that it was really hard to find active takistan life servers when it got popular as 90% of the servers were DayZ i usually filter by ping so I end up getting 100 dayz servers before i see any other game modes, server list really needs a blacklist filter
