I mean come on, railguns like that are future naval weapons, mounted on large warships with nuclear power and enough room for the energy storage in the form of a room full of capacitors

I have a theory on the release time of the alpha. Dslyecxi can't release his Arma 3 video until 6PM CST. That, if I'm converting it correctly, translates to midnight in the Czech Republic, where Bohemia is. So I believe they might be putting out the alpha on midnight of the 5th in their time.

barely changes the required impulse and juice, and likely means even more barrel replacements
I guess what I'm trying to say is exoskeletons are something that is essentially already functional in most respects and has goals to be used as an infantry platform (which have also been developed)
whereas the closest we've come to railguns for military use are ship mounted ones, a tank mounted one is practically a nigh impossible feat to pull off, and even then it would not come near to the performance of chemical propellants (capacity, fire rate and so on)
not that I don't want a railgun tank, that shit is great and I can't wait to see it in action, and yeah exo suits don't bring enough to the table in ARMA to be included
but its basically something from crysis with only a small basis in current and near future tech
only reason I'm continuing this discussion is not that I want exo suits in game, that'd be pointless, nor because I don't want railgun tanks in the game (they're too fuckin cool), but because people seem to think a tank based railgun is more plausible in the near future than exo suits we already have mostly functioning
