Valve actually spent all their time since the release of episode 2 developing ArmA 3 as their new blockbuster steam game (ignore their other ones), BIS is actually a false cover name for an organization of immortal mercenaries.

Anyone know what time the Alpha will be made available for purchase tomorrow? Someone on the forums said 7pm GMT +1 because that's when Steam updates it's store.

Unless that just means that you get a steam key to redeem.
The whole of arma 3, all editions are steam exclusive, so if you buy from BI store, you get a key which you redeem on STEAM.
