Oh yeah fuck the restricted area limits, there are some tresspassing areas that make no sense. Like I approached a phone in a restaurant and suddenly BOOM FAILED.
I remember when I was trying to beat the library and I didn't instinct in time
I just sprinted over to a checkpoint, activated it and restarted
Everyone was back to normal :v:
It seems like the game penalizes you for knocking peeps out, at least non target peeps.
Hide the bodies.
I was expecting it to be everything from singleplayer and was disappointed. I thought that would be the whole point of collecting random weapons.
It isnt? fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
How many points do you need to get Silent Assassin? I did a perfect run of the Terminus level but didn't get SA. Do you need to collect all evidence to get SA?
You can't get Silent Assassin if you don't assassinate anyone, the highest rank on those parts is professional. You should still get Silent Assassin for the level if you got every section as Professional and Silent Assassin for the actual hits.

Ah, that explains it. You don't kill anyone in that level.

i think it's actually shadow now that's the best rank in a mission without a target
edit: sounds p dull now but better than stuff like "ninja extraordinaire" there used to be before blood money
Holy fuck.. You can kill Dr Green within 5 seconds on that test lab level
As soon the lift reaches the ground grab your silverballers and shoot the glass below him and he will die :v:
I'm considering getting a Hitman game. I checked meta scores and it says Hitman 2 is better than Absolution. But, then again, meta scores can mean jack shit.
So, what game do you guys think I should I get?

Blood Money and Absolution
You like Blood Money, you get Contracts/2/Codename 47
Yeah trespassing is something that really needs to be worked on, like you don't know where a trespassing area is and as soon as the game tells you, you have already lost like 1500 points, it should give you a chance to at least turn around and leave
Why does 47 not put on the whole headgear of certain police and baddies? Like that gasmask or the Agency helmets. Would help to disguise him a little more.
It's possible to get a ski masked disguise from some of the non-suited guards at the top floor of the Blackwater Hotel, but I don't think it affects your notoriety any.

Guess I am the only one not caring about losing trespassing points. But yeah, the points should get reverted if you for back to an area where tough aren't trespassing.
So I finished the game [sp] How is Diana still alive exactly? [/sp]
It's possible to get a ski masked disguise from some of the non-suited guards at the top floor of the Blackwater Hotel, but I don't think it affects your notoriety any.
the only ones who will see through that disguise is the ski masked people themselves.
I don't think I ever came by an area where I didn't know was trespassing, everything I have seen is pretty obvious that it's trespassing.
Though one thing I hate in the Run for your Life mission is that the swat officers aren't different from the actual cops, basically wearing the swat outfit should make sure no one knows who I am because you wear the full face gear and there are no other swat on the platform. I got it all stealthy, felt proud, walked out, got raped, fucken purist man.
I remember the SWAT gear from Contracts always had a tracker in it so if you were found out all the SWAT guys would come down on you like a ton of bricks.
So I finished the game [sp] How is Diana still alive exactly? [/sp]
Well [sp] 47 never exactly killed her " Im not going to kill you" She could of kept pressure on the wound with that shower curtain.
And silent assassian is canon so no massacres there probably one of the guards found her and helped her out?[/sp]
Also another thing [sp] At the end of Sledgehammer, 47 is shown to be walking away from the town and the church but then in the next mission, he's shown to have taken the funeral car. :I [/sp]
He probably realised he couldn't make it on foot and took the walk of shame back to steal it.
Wait, fuck, so if you garrotte an enemy and hide them, you can do it as much as you want and still get silent assassin? Like in the first game?
Why not mapping tools so we can make any levels we want.
I can tell you right now that based upon what I think I know about how the Glacier engine works, that will never happen. The maps are almost entirely model based and those models are specifically created for that level. It's not really like Hammer or CryEngine.

Yes, but only if it's an enemy. You can do the same with civilians, but you have to subdue them and not kill them and then hide the body.

There are still tons of assets used, they could all be reused for new levels.
Made a fairly difficult contract (I think) with a base payout of 305,000.

In mine you need to:
Not be seen.
Hide all the bodies.
Miss no shots.
Only kill targets.
No disguise changes.
Oh and you're using the swiss derringer for 2 of them.
I dunno dude, I haven't played Blood Money, but I feel like ideally you want a good balance between some linearity and openness. Too much of either can be a bad thing, it still needs to be somewhat directed. At least, that's what I find the most fun. Figuring out the specifics of a situation and then tackling it with one of a few choices. I like that. If it were as open as you say blood money is I might just have a panic attack and have no idea what to choose and be kind of perfectionist about it trying to find THE perfect and best way. That'd kill me with so many options.
There's no THE way in Blood Money though, there's tons of ways, and honestly all you have to do is explore the levels a bit and the options become clear very quickly.
Trust me, people would like this game a lot more if it was less linear, they're just trying to convince themselves that linear is good because they don't want to hate on the game. At the end of the day, more freedom is always better in games. If you want a directed experience that's what movies are for
So I finished the game [sp] How is Diana still alive exactly? [/sp]
you know, the fact that 47 didn't plug [sp]her[/sp] that one last time and just walked out the door...
i dunno. like clicking on that spoiler isn't a surprise to me.
[editline]25th November 2012[/editline]
if anything it was a left for dead situation.
47 gave [sp]her that much considering all she did for him[/sp]
pretty generous by hitman's standards.

Did it. #1 so far, anyone that can beat me?
is it just me or is everyone disappointed by this game not realizing that contracts mode has been around in one form or another ever since hitman games have been around?
you guys do realize that they basically took something from hitman forum which was basically in game roleplay and made it into a bonafide game mode.
yes people actually wrote up missions and such where you had to kill this one dude with this one weapon. except it was all imagined, nothing was in game.
goto hitman forum right now, i think they still have the section for at least bloodmoney.
