Can anyone else confirm this? Because if this is true, it'd be perfect.
Dubble confirm, the entire PC version is rigged into Steamworks so yeah, every PC copy you get is for steam
I figured out on the Bar mission, if you dress up like the sheriff; you can seriously punch everyone in the bar out and not lose any points. :v:
I just got to the Courthouse level, How much longer is left?
Personally I did not like Blood Money and I only played it because I got it for pre-ordering Absolution. I didn't even bother past the second mission. So from a fresh perspective, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and I think it holds up perfectly fine on its own without having to clutch onto Blood Money for safety. I haven't played a game with moments as tense as the library level and Blackwater Park since Human Revolution. The game is also very atmospheric and its in the top 3 on my list of game worlds that actually feel alive and detailed.
You have a good point, but you are a bad person for not liking Blood Money.
You have a good point, but you are a bad person for not liking Blood Money.
The controls were wonky, the inventory system was bad, there wasn't much choice in how to complete objectives, I don't think it really holds up as a great game.

Blood Money? What the hell man. Don't get me wrong, I like Absolution but more of it was too linear, sneak-here-sneak-there levels and not the open assassinations of Blood Money, the missions from Blood Money are so memorable whereas the Absolution levels are hit and miss.

The first is a tutorial and is as close to Absolution as Blood Money would get and A Vintage Year wasn't one of the better levels, last I played.
Yeah, the first two levels aren't a great example.
you should really read a guide or something before saying there aren't many ways to kill someone.
I remember the first time I completed the Paris Opera level of Blood Money using the [sp]Pistol switch and chandelier crash to kill the targets.[/sp] It felt so awesome watching it all happen from the third story then calmly walking out afterwards.
I played blood money when it came out, and one of the reasons I was convinced to actually get Absolution is because the preorder came with blood money and hitman2... but playing it again I felt like it didn't age well. Like there was nostalgia from playing it again but I found it more tedious than fun. Absolution was fun throughout and looked gorgeous as well. I don't think it deserves all the hate it's getting.
wow the barbershop level is really awesome for predator style picking off of guards
wow the barbershop level is really awesome for predator style picking off of guards
Just wait for the cornfield
absolution is getting hate? FFS bloodmoney had been using the same engine for nearly a fuckin decade and it showed. there were blatant clipping issues with pretty much every gun in the game as well. compared to absolution bloodmoney does feel a little haphazardly put together. check that, compared to absolution it's almost like a mod for contracts. a really well done mod. but still, you gotta admit the game looks absolute shit and it's clunky as hell. i think they were using the same animations they used in hitman 2. I've played bloodmoney top to bottom and know every inch of every knook in the game. i've fucked with all the little easter eggs, i've gotten the russian hare rating... getting silent assassin multiple ways on all levels goes without saying. i don't think another bloodmoney would have done it. it probably would have turned out shit.
Wow they still didn't fix 5.1 Digital in cutscenes...

Calmly pack up your rifle again and sneak out the way you came.[/sp]
na the best way is to find the lightroom keycard.
Although I love this game for what it has done for the IP, I love the things they have implemented, disregarding slight tweaks needed in the disguise system (and they are only parameters that could probably be coded in quite easily). But on by-product of this disguise system is that it cheapens the subtlety of your well planned slaughter because your playing a fucking mini-game with arrows in all directions. I miss the stuff they took out from blood money that essentially made Hitman what it is. It might be small but the controls are a bit of a mess, but since I can change them I cannot really complain. But I really miss the small list of interactions with say a door: Open, peek through keyhole, lockpick, that appeared when you hold the use key. I prefer absolutions inventory system, but only because I haven't hand picked out my equipment prior to starting the mission. So there isn't much use in pausing the game for such a negligible hotbar. Also, where the fuck is my trust-worthy distract-o-coin. Loved chucking money at the poor drug-fuelled gangsta's in the dark room on intro level in Blood Money. I presume at the end of Absolution this instalments story is rounded off and Hitman can get back to normal contracts with a safe house and set-up/planning before just arriving on the scene and basically hoping for the best. Which no professional assassin would do.
Wish I could play the game... http://i.imgur.com/ts6dl.png I Verified Integrity of Game Data Updated my drivers Disabled "Exclusive Fullscreen" Disabled AVG Disabled SSAO and Global Illumination Patch didn't help

(Except for maybe the residue of the mine on the chandelier, but I presume they designed that to not leave any evidence).[/sp]
I went exploring on the wrestling level and I just [sp]dropped the lights on him and it crushed him, then I walked away[/sp]
I went exploring on the wrestling level and I just [sp]dropped the lights on him and it crushed him, then I walked away[/sp]
HA, I did it the more MANLY way. [sp]Throw C4 into the ring, and then have the lights drop on him.[/sp]
I went exploring on the wrestling level and I just [sp]dropped the lights on him and it crushed him, then I walked away[/sp]
I had a bit of trouble in the first part of that, so I ended up doing the [sp]kill where you dress up as the Patriot and kick the shit out of him.[/sp] Does the cutscene play out differently if you do it another way?

Also, I'm up to [sp]the part when you get captured by the sheriff in the prison.[/sp] How much longer do I have 'till I'm done with the game?

The top featured contract this week for China Town is dumb as hell. 1. Kill drug man when he is looking out the window by going to the corner of the boxes with a bottle on them near the policeman, your second target. 2. Wait till policeman turns around, murder. 3. Hit car alarm, kill King. 4. Make sure to hide all bodies.
Guys! Just got some new information on Hitman 6, looks like IO - Interactive have been 'moved' aside.

[editline]1st December 2012[/editline] oh I see, you're posting the video to get some views.
