Cosmetic crap When I saw DLC trailer I thought it would be more missons darn
That DLC has been out since release. I bought it on release atleast.
I still think 47 looks pretty baller in that gear, it works somehow.

Why did they use the combat vest and not the trenchcoat he'd look way better in that
The pistol that comes with that Deus Ex DLC is probably my favorite gun in the game. It's so goddamn quiet.
should have been a version with adam's coat on though.
the pinnacle of stealth action videogames on par with chaos theory [editline]3rd December 2012[/editline] Sarcasm shit aside, I am going to try to make an actual hitman video this week sometime.
i'd actually say that this game is on par with chaos theory in its own little way. that's my opinion. and the fact that i've had the game since release and my expert playthrough has only progressed to little over the halfway point of the game [editline]4th December 2012[/editline] also i like if you perform a headshot on someone in stealth without being seen the game slows down to allow to you quickly take out another guard. it happens pretty much every time i stealth headshot someone, even with unsilenced weapons. i think it's an awesome little feature.
If you ask me Conviction should have been a bit more like this.
true. in fact looking at the game as a whole, it's kinda what i envisioned conviction to be like for the longest time. like what this game is now minus plot and style obviously was pretty much what they originally pitched conviction to be as. well plus a bunch of other stuff too as well.
i just had a fear about hitman 5 being developed by another dev with even less people from IOI on the team. the main thing that really furthered development was the dev's particular interest in a fansite called hitmanforum.com. basically all the great improvements to contracts, bloodmoney and absolution came from this site. silent assassin even maybe. i joined just after contracts was released so i can't exactly vouch for that period either but still. in hitman bloodmoney we saw a drastic improvement in character movement. as well as the ability to customize your own weapons (i specifically remember making one of the first threads asking "well if we can put silencers on our weapons why not laser pointers and such?" obviously people scoffed at it and made fun of the idea at the time... laugh you did...). much of the improvements we saw in bloodmoney basically came from fan feedback about contracts and fan suggestions. in absolution it should be blazingly obvious. people wanted the story to continue. and given the nature of bloodmoney's ending they wanted something dazzling and shit. that's what we got. if you don't know already, contracts mode is specifically based on a text based in game fan role play that originated on hitmanforum. so when all the great things come from the fans, and the devs possibly stop listening... what will happen then?
Well, the point of handing the franchise off to someone else is so that they can provide a new perspective and a fresh take on the series, and so IOI can work on their other IPs as well as new ones. There's still quite a few IOI devs working on the next Hitman, and IOI wouldn't hand off their best selling and most popular franchise to someone who wouldn't give a damn. Square Enix are fans of the games, and I'm sure they will take the feedback that IOI learned from Absolution and give us something nice and new. I don't think they'll specifically be looking at the Hitman forum for ideas, but they will take feedback as necessary and expand on the game.
they just need to treat the hitman forum like IOI did. oh and i just had my first taste of contracts... holy shit you could make some really kickass missions with this with some good preplanning and skillz.
So I'm not sure if I'm late or not... but god, this gave me a good laugh. http://www.giantbomb.com/news/square-enix-invents-horribly-insulting-facebook-promotion-for-hitman-absolution-subsequently-apologizes/4467/ I would have abused the living hell out of this if I knew it existed.
i tried it out and it wasn't really offensive at all, just for a laugh, dunno what all the fuss is about
Could've done without the small tits and tiny penis but otherwise it's just for fun, it was made so you like send it to your best friend, and if he/she gets offended then he/she's not your best friend.
i just realized this game's engine feels a lot like deus ex human revolution's engine.
i just realized this game's engine feels a lot like deus ex human revolution's engine.
I thought that Deus Ex HR's engine was the Lara Croft one, wasn't it?
both engines do feel very much alike either way
DXHR is Tomb Raider as said, but to me it feels like UE3, and well Hitman is Glacier 2.
So are there any modding capabilities for this game in the future? Contracts adds a lot of replay value, but if they really wanted to make the game last after Squeenix's version comes out, modding would be exactly the ticket.

Contracts mode would be amazing.
guess who played purist today idk why i'm not silent assassin though i didn't get detected or kill anyone in the first part of the mission either???
DXHR is Tomb Raider as said, but to me it feels like UE3, and well Hitman is Glacier 2.
glacier 2 is an inhouse engine which could have used tech from the tomb raider engine.

It takes the average of the two, I think.
The whole Dexter Industries level make me feel like Sam Fisher. I do not like the feel of those missions thus far.
Did you get silent assassin on both the orphanage halls and central heating? You have to leave everybody alone to get silent assassin don't you?
can't get SA if level has no target
