Then I don't understand your sniper rifle tactic. What mission are you talking about?
At the start of the last mission you can get a sniper (or have a sniper at the beginning? Can't remember.), and you start near some stairs. I basically did the same. You can snipe people into ditches and stuff.

I don't get the ending? [sp]so Diana is alive? since when? and is he going to kill them at the end? why is he spying on them? I just don't get it.[/sp]

[sp]But why does he have a sniper rifle aimed at them[/sp]?
I guess he decided to become their silent protector.
[sp]But why does he have a sniper rifle aimed at them[/sp]?
[sp]Because he's too poor to afford binoculars. [/sp]

So I skipped pre-ordering Absolution because early reviews of it seemed kind of negative, now that it's £10 is it worth picking up or is it not as good as Blood Money?
It's good. It's different than Blood Money.
The final mission reminds me of blood money. A contract.
[sp]He used a non lethal bullet, and kept her alive[/sp]
um i'm pretty sure [sp] he shot her down but Diana didn't die, instead 47 let her live and she recovered [/sp]

I feel like playing through the older Hitman games again now.

Wake us up when it hits PC ;)
Wake us up when it hits PC ;)
Why. You can already get all of them plus Codename 47 for PC.
Doesn't the HD release have improved visuals though? I think we'd all love to play the originals with nicer graphics...
Doesn't the HD release have improved visuals though? I think we'd all love to play the originals with nicer graphics...
The trailer's visuals looked the same as the originals, I can't really tell the difference
Doesn't the HD release have improved visuals though? I think we'd all love to play the originals with nicer graphics...
The only thing they would have done to this is increase the resolution. They would not have updated any of the graphics. The pc versions already have an increased resolution.
Question: Absolution, buy or not?
Question: Absolution, buy or not?
Buy, just don't expect it to be Blood Money 2 It's still great mind you, just different

I don't like calling hacks but I find it statistically unlikely that only two people in the entire world can get more than that. Something is fishy. [editline]30th January 2013[/editline] For my first playthrough, I've been doing suit-only, never spotted, hide all bodies on Expert. The sneaks are the sneakiest and it's very challenging. I just beat the train station like this. I can tell I'll have a long ride ahead of me. [editline]30th January 2013[/editline] Also, I've thought about before, in game design, how to make the avatar's skill available to augment the player's ability in non-obtrusive ways. The way Absolution uses static to represent 47's instinct in regard to enemy awareness is brilliant design in my opinion.
Am I the only one that was kind of disappointed by Absolution's soundtrack? I mean, Jesper Kyd wasn't included in the project for some reason, and he's a fucking fantastic composer. I mean, listen to this shit: It just feels kind of... less epic than the previous games. The soundtrack, that is.
There are definitely less iconic tracks expect for the "horn" song but some of the tracks during shootouts feel very Hitman-y.
Question: Absolution, buy or not?
I had a hard time getting into Absolution and the story. Definitely didn't feel like a hitman game half the time, but had it's moments. Felt more like the Splinter Cell Conviction version of the Hitman series. I would suggest getting it when it's on sale.
Just finished RFYL first time with no disguises, never spotted. Never before have I felt so immersed.
There are definitely less iconic tracks expect for the "horn" song but some of the tracks during shootouts feel very Hitman-y.
I've become rather fond of the bwong.
wtf is rfyl?
Run For Your Life
Ah.

I already cannot remember the Hitman Absolution soundtrack. :c Not saying it was bad, it was good, but I still strongly prefer Jesper Kyd as the composer.
