So? Blood Money had big open environments as well. And making them even bigger would only make the game better.
i meant to say big open areas connected possibly seamlessly. that's exactly what i fucking saw. [editline]27th June 2012[/editline] also the agency is fuck dead now. i think the point of the game is that hitman doesn't have the agency anymore and deals with his clients personally now. the punk assed thug was nothing more than a punk assed thug with a lot of money, k?
square enix made deux ex 3.
Square Enix was a publisher, Eidos Montreal were the developers, get your facts right.
Square Enix was a publisher, Eidos Montreal were the developers, get your facts right.
YEAH AS IF THE PUBLISHER'S VISION WONT AFFECT THE VISION OF THE DEVELOPERS THEY OWN [editline]27th June 2012[/editline] and there is something vaguely familiar about these two games, at least from what i've seen of absolution so far. it's like this sort of unique edgy darkness that bleeds from the subtones of both the games [editline]27th June 2012[/editline] thinking publishers, even ones that don't own the fuckin studio making the game, don't have any control over the creative process is retarded. it's like the REASON why this whole indie thing started, indie music, games, films, whatever. so instead of relying on a publisher's funding to create something, that the publisher will meddle with btw, they use other means of distribution, publication and funding. indie isn't a genre, it just means independent [editline]27th June 2012[/editline] on another note i hope they add in a system or something where a confirmation shot on a downed target won't just be a wasted bullet at the end of a level. there's something cool about putting two rounds in someone then popping their face off when they're huddled on the floor. granted you could do that in previous hitman games but it was kinda lame and they used the same god damn animation for all the games. i dunno, coup de grace shots are awesome but in hitman you can rarely preform them, and even rarer so if the target is still conscious.
YEAH AS IF THE PUBLISHER'S VISION WONT AFFECT THE VISION OF THE DEVELOPERS THEY OWN
"square enix made deux ex 3." =/= they influence the developers. Big open environments are the city hubs which were obviously going to be there since they were in Deus Ex 1. I highly doubt Square Enix had to do a lot with the development of the game judging by the way Eidos Montreal behaves in interviews and on their tumblr. They did the super-actionish trailers though, and the game came out the way the fans wanted it to be: focused on stealth, although you could choose your own playstyle.
publishers have control over developers regardless. you're not even talking about what i'm talking about. i've seen them say that this game will likely be hub based like deus ex. the similarities i'm talking about are purely visual
yeah they are and that's retarded. but anyone who's seen the streets of hope knows this game looks incredibly promising.
Streets of Hope looked cool. It was being played on an easier difficulty with radar and useful hints such as "TRESPASSING" and "CLEAR". The purist mode should be exciting.
Has anyone seen this pre-order DLC? [img_thumb]http://thegamershub.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Hitman-Absolution-Pre-order-Best-Buy.jpg[/img_thumb] That's a 25,000-45,000+ dollar gun Agent 47 is holding there. (And presumably the suit is expensive too) [sp]Though considering he earned 2 mil at the end of Blood Money[/sp] I presume he can afford it.

Current prices for it are between $40k and $75k as only 176 were ever made. :v:

I don't think neither the Agency or 47 has any problem with cash, as the contracts cost helluva lot of money
I don't think neither the Agency or 47 has any problem with cash, as the contracts cost helluva lot of money
And I don't doubt 47 could heist a bank and walk out if he wanted to
And I don't doubt 47 could heist a bank and walk out if he wanted to
cash would have to be laundered and 47 doesn't have the agency to do it for him.
cash would have to be laundered and 47 doesn't have the agency to do it for him.
He could always go down to the local drug baron, murder and make out with the pre-laundered cash. :v:
I just watched the 17 min gameplay video. I don't like how they copied that eagle vision from Assassins Creed.
seems like they're "taking inspiration" from multiple games in this one

It looks really good. Hopefully this will shut up the nay-sayers claiming that it's just going to be Hitman Conviction.
Ahhh, I remember watching my bro playing Blood Money all day.. Funny how some moments of the game gave me boners.
Funny how some moments of the game gave me boners.
uhhhhhhh why do you think this is funny [editline]14th July 2012[/editline] well there were some big-titted girls though
While you wait for this game to release look up Death to All Spies: Moment of Truth. It has similar gameplay to hitman and its pretty fun.
Anyone have one of those modded profiles for blood money with the bowie knife and other melee weapons always being selectable at the start of the mission?
uhhhhhhh why do you think this is funny [editline]14th July 2012[/editline] well there were some big-titted girls though
if you never had a raging hard boner after performing a very cinematic kill, but non scripted, in a video game well... you're not a man

This game is going to be a shit port. Poor optimisation, can't rebind keys - CTRL is your reload button and you hold it down to enable wallhack mode, and clearly pandering to casual players. All this on the pre-order exclusive Sniper Challenge.
Christ just get a wired 360 controller already.
why should he have to pander the vile tastes of incompetent developers he bought the game--the least the developers could do would be to actually make it playable on the platform they're releasing it for

It runs perfectly for me, and CTRL as the reload button is probably just for Sniper Challenge only. It's too early to jump or join conclusions.
