unless they actually were and it's some weird police department that doesn't exist in america, or i may just be remembering them wrong from the trailer
EDIT:
I rewatched it and they're American with British uniforms, wat
is is hard to google images 'chicago pd uniform'?
the nuns are franchise not ICA
ICA is pretty much dead at this point
And why do the nuns have ICA logos tattooed on them?
And why do the nuns have ICA logos tattooed on them?
Ex-ICA operatives?
"Okay, ladies. All our associates died. You know what to do."
"DRESS UP IN NUN UNIFORMS! WOOOOOOO!"
the nuns are franchise not ICA

The nuns are ICA. The ICA faked it's collapse to get the Franchise off it's back. In the last cutscene of Blood Money Diana says the plan worked and they're almost back to full operations.
ICA is pretty much dead at this point
ICA is international (its even in the name) and especially the upper echelon is probably still alive.

wasn't the plan to just eliminate both leland and the last albino clone? the franchise lost its leader and multiple assasins during blood money and they're solely us based so they might be already done for.
I just watched the Streets of Hope E3 trailer and it was amazing! Now I am looking forward to this game even more. Too bad that I can't remember much of the story of the previous games because my memory is so poor.
so basically the ICA betrayed hitman?

You can always Wikipedia the story!
so basically the ICA betrayed hitman?
They needed the Franchse to think he was dead, to ensure that he couldn't know that plan because the Franchise was tracking him. So yes, they betrayed him, but they saved his life by doing it.
Of course now he's working for someone else and he knows their secrets so they can't let him stay rogue. Now they have to bring him in or take him out.
Though this could be like the Mark Parchezzi III thing where they make it look like all this is important but it ends up only being a side note in the final product.

I think in Absolution, that isn't considered the betrayal, I think they do something else, which leads to 47 killing Diana, and the rest of the shit happening.
Did 47 kill Diana in that trailer?
[editline]21st October 2012[/editline]
Because if he didn't, I'm almost optimistic that something more than just revenge will play out.
I doubt he killed Diana, although the biatch deserves it.
He does kill Diana it was in one of the first trailers
He does kill Diana it was in one of the first trailers
The trailer showed him creaping into a house and walking up to her in the shower, it cut out before anything hapened. Claiming anything happened is a fools game considering how they've advertised the past games.
and I really doubt they'd show something as big as one main character killing another main character in a mere trailer.
He does kill her, the next trailer shows her last words being her telling 47 to save that child.
Absolutions description also says that he kills her.
[editline]21st October 2012[/editline]
And the Diania ICA trailer shows that ICA put a kill order on her and 47 was the guy who did it.
He does kill her, the next trailer shows her last words being her telling 47 to save that child.

And Blood Money's trailers said Mark Parchezzi III would be a major character. Until the game comes out we don't know anything.
Furthermore
Having just killed his ICA handler Diana Burnwood, the Original Assassin accepts her dying wish and takes on a very personal contract. This leads Agent 47 to the Rosewood Orphanage in Chicago, where he finds himself in the midst of a brutal raid by a gang of vicious criminals all after the same person.
[editline]21st October 2012[/editline]
Thats the description on the trailer "A Personal Contract" by the way.

I honestly would not be surprised if 47 killing Diana is a fake-out. It's been too casually dropped in promo material and interviews for me to believe they'll play it straight. She's the only character aside from 47 who has appeared in every Hitman game, after all.
And in the aforementioned trailer, you see Diana's dead body.
[editline]21st October 2012[/editline]
If she is alive in Absolution which considering how explicitly they have mentioned her death, I will write "Fuck me you were right" on my forehead and draw two throbbing cocks on both my cheeks spurting "I was wrong" into my mouth.

I will hold you to that.

What was that trailer called? I think I must have missed that one.
However just a bit of food for thought, at the end of Blood Money we did see what we THOUGHT was 47's dead body.
Disregard trailer request, you already mentioned the name, my bad :v:

Yeah, but 47s dead body didn't have a visible bullet hole through his heart. Diana's does.
Trailer in question:

I retract all prior statements.
I hope now that 47 has gone rogue we can get some non-linearity in the plot sense.
-snip it's gay as heck they tell all of the game in the fucking trailers goddamn-
I still keep playing the first mission on Blood Money just for that line:
wot the fok u llookn at, kraka?
