If Hitman had an online mode, this is what it would look like.
hundreds of serious bald men in chicken suits and gimp outfits.
OPM and OXM have reviews for Hitman Absolution in their magazines. Both gave it a 9/10. OPM also described it as the peak of the Hitman series. i hope they're right and they weren't paid off.
i hope they're right and they weren't paid off.
Don't worry that's IGN's job.
well considering how many awesome things they did while retaining core gameplay it's hard to see how they could fuck this up. as soon as i get this in gamefly i'm buying it.
I'm pretty sure they're paid off. I wouldn't really trust a huge official xbox or ps3 magazine at all. But them being paid off doesn't mean what they're saying is a lie.
it's pretty much just like i said. even if they are lying they're probably just not mentioning little niggling things or counting them against the game. the game is most definitely going to be good from what we've seen, heard and read so far. then again didn't splinter cell conviction get decent reviews? the only way i see this game being fucked up is if they make those mandatory shootout sequences that were mentioned earlier abundant. if there's only like 2 or 3 and they're just to show off how badass hitman is i won't have qualms with them.
then again didn't splinter cell conviction get decent reviews?
Yeah, Conviction got 7s and 8s, I think. Deserved them too, it was a great stealthy third-person shooter, just not a good Splinter Cell game. From what we've seen so far, though, it looks like Absolution won't go the Conviction way, since all the stealth mechanics are still very much there. They just made shooting less clunky, so a) they could get the target audience that doesn't really care about all that stealthy stuff and just wants to play as a bald gruff assassin and b) the shooting mechanics weren't exactly good in the previous games.

if that's the new soundtrack then fuck this game i'll make my own soundtrack
if that's the new soundtrack then fuck this game i'll make my own soundtrack
If this is true, i seriously hope we can modify it with a mix from all the previous games Now that would be awesome..
I don't think thats part of the soundtrack, I've heard that tune before. Plus, in the dev demos, we have heard the background music, and its nothing like that.
There's just no pleasing you bastards is there? Personally I think the soundtrack is okay, and even then it is a trailer.
I thought the trailer music was great, The way you guys were acting i was expecting dubstep but it actually fitted imo and was very cinematic.
I thought the trailer music was great, The way you guys were acting i was expecting dubstep but it actually fitted imo and was very cinematic.
yeah but this is facepunch. anything that isn't a 60 piece cinematic orchestra is considered "tekno bulshet"
yeah but this is facepunch. anything that isn't a 60 piece cinematic orchestra is considered "tekno bulshet"
Uh what, all Hitman games had this (see video below) kind of music for trailers and everything. It just doesn't fit imo
This track isn't orchestral And there are many others that aren't either I bet
.. Yes i know but i never said i only wanted orchestral only music Jesper Kyd man..
Why does that say that is from ACIII? Thats from his standalone album, Ultimatum.
Because it's an ACIII soundtrack.. ? How much left until HItman is here damn it, 24 days?! :/
that was barely even techno, I was expecting some funky 1990's tune or something like that
i actually like that new soundtrack they got going. they do that whole "blaring brass" thing that shutter island and inception did. you know where the brass section of the band does those single note long pulses at regular intervals to the beat. it's very apparent in shutter island, not so much inception. it's quite ominous sounding and considering someone who's practically abominable barreling for someone to make sure they stop breathing for good... the new soundtrack fits and i don't think jesper could have done it
Because it's an ACIII soundtrack.. ? How much left until HItman is here damn it, 24 days?! :/
I just told you it is not. Lorne Balfe is the composer for ACIII, not Jesper Kyd. I even said what it was from originally :v:.
the best example is during that first E3 trailer (the one where hitman gets mistaken for some guy named foster and says "i never left") when he walks out into the crowd at the end the music starts up and it's actually almost exactly like inception or shutter island's main score. if they stick with a score like that i think the game will be perfect. and we have our old VO back too. there isn't anything to worry about. and if there is there's no point till the game comes out. then we burn down square enix, quite possibly IOI (just for kane and lynch and ruining hitman)
The music was wonderful. I don't what those guys were going on about.
Any music that's electronic is dubstep. Fact.
motherfuckers thats kavinsky. boner
