I got like 6 (edit, 8 hours, actually) hours out of the sniper challenge which is almost as long as most campaigns these days. Sadly lots of people either don't keep up with news on every title or they see the first trailer and never look back if it doesn't look good. I wouldn't worry too much though, if it's good word will get around.

Well how about that. My computer actually can handle this game. In fact it surpasses the minimum requirements, which is astonishing considering what a piece of crap this thing is. I guess I can grace it with one more amazing game before I replace it.

If you then feel like catching up on the story and want some challenging gameplay start on the older games after.

I find it odd that Absolution is coming it out on the 20th in the UK. Games usually come out on a Friday here, the 20th is a Tuesday. Definitely not complaining though.

Probably a couple days before release date?

As always GMG send out their keys when they receive them so it's up to the publisher.

I finally pre-ordered and played the Sniper challenge, and by God the gameplay is so fun and smooth. I'm hyped as hell for this.

Hurry up 20th![/QUOTE] One thing I really liked with this trailer is how they made "instinct" sound like a natural part of the game. After all, we ARE playing as the world's most skilled assassin, since he's superhuman, those "instincts" make sense. This and how they compared it to purist makes it sound very promising. We literally can play how we want, at any level.

What confuses me is how they fuck up Kane and Lynch so bad but make this game fantastic!

freedom fighters was a similar game that was very well done. the first kane and lynch wasn't terrible either. i haven't bothered to play the second one. what he's getting at is that kane and lynch wasn't a bad game start but its sequel fucked shit up way to much

I for one will say I personally enjoyed Kane and Lynch, though I don't think they were amazing games, the first one has been a guilty pleasure of mine for a while. I've probably replayed it at least once per year the past few years, I just love the opening and the bank heist.

i'd call it a guilty pleasure myself too. the first game was really buggy and had a lot of things going against it. but i enjoyed the hell out of it.

I've never actually played the bank part as Lynch. I have yet to see what it looks like from his perspective as nobody's ever put up a YouTube video of it. I'd love to know what he does when Kane and the other guy are down at the vault and why he ends up having a break and shoot everyone.

I played the co-op of Kane and Lynch 1 and loved it, so there is no denying I completely hate it. Played 2 awhile back and thought it was pretty crap.
