only eight more daysssssssss hhhhhhhhhhh At least I managed to configure Hitman: Sniper Challenge so it plays at a decent frame rate. It still looks really good though and I'm kind of surprised I can do both!
only eight more daysssssssss hhhhhhhhhhh
Isn't it 6 days? Is it a worldwide release?
Isn't it 6 days? Is it a worldwide release?
Today is the 12th, it comes out on the 20th.
20th of Nov.
Today is the 12th, it comes out on the 20th.
Yeah, but it's the 13th for me, so 6 days and like 18 hours. Which is why I was confused.
Yeah, but it's the 13th for me, so 6 days and like 18 hours. Which is why I was confused.
I don't think it's midnight release for you though. You'll probably still have to wait:
This game will unlock in approximately 1 week, and 7 hours

Yeah, but it's the 13th for me, so 6 days and like 18 hours. Which is why I was confused.
Timezones, comes out at our time, your time wont be a midnight release
About the bodies disappearing and the enemy's respawning Has this been confirmed to be fake?
I don't think it's midnight release for you though. You'll probably still have to wait:
"This game will unlock in approximately 6 days and 20 hours" As long as they don't change anything around at the last minute, it will be midnight release.
About the bodies disappearing and the enemy's respawning Has this been confirmed to be fake?
I don't think anyone knows what exactly they meant by that yet so nope. [editline]12th November 2012[/editline]
"This game will unlock in approximately 6 days and 20 hours" As long as they don't change anything around at the last minute, it will be midnight release.
Wow lucky. Where do you live? I'm smelling a VPN coming on.
Wow lucky. Where do you live? I'm smelling a VPN coming on.
Australia. I'm liking these worldwide releases, just like Black Ops 2 we're ahead of the rest!
Well shit, he goes rogue and the agency sends every agent after him? I know he is the best they had but that seems rather excessive.
They're probably just really genre savvy. I mean, if a genetically-engineered, stone-cold badass goes rogue, it's probably much safer just to suspend operations for the moment and murderize the fuck out of him. Better safe than assassinated, after all.
Despite the guy playing in a completely offputting way, the game still looks fun to me.

Better safe than assassinated, after all.
Exactly, I mean, he's probably the only agent who's been on that many missions with a 100% success rate (thank god they didn't see all my cock-ups), so stopping him is probably pretty vital for survival. Also, he knows all sorts of shit about them, and maybe the Diana-situation is even more dangerous for them, and 47 got his hands on some intel or something. Damn, it could be awesome if we saw another clone this time around, though I doubt it. I guess 17 in SA was the last one :( [editline]12th November 2012[/editline] (Ort-Meyer clones, not those albino-dudes)
That Chinese guy is killing people for no reason and seems to have no understanding of disguises whatsoever.
So the general consensus is that Hitman: Absolution is more like Silent Assassin then Blood Money from what I'm reading around on forums, that sounds like an awesome comparison to me.
Why do I get a feeling he's like REALLY good at this game and he's just playing like shit to piss us off
Why do I get a feeling he's like REALLY good at this game and he's just playing like shit to piss us off
Because he plays so clumsily I feel like you'd have to try to be that bad. I felt like he was doing it to make a point about the game being too lenient or something personally, but it seems like the guy can't ever keep any points so it's obviously not working.
Absolution has leaked for Xbox. Prepare for an onslaught of videos, spoilers, and live streams!
Absolution has leaked for Xbox. Prepare for an onslaught of videos, spoilers, and live streams!
I remember the Halo 3 thread where some ass came in and spoiled the game as soon it was leaked For the love of god i hope that doesn't happen here :I
If Hitman: Absolution is on your Holiday list, you may be in for a big disappointment. The Christmas 2012 issue of PC Gamer contains a review by Tom Francis who did a number on Hitman: Absolution with some very unflattering things to say about it. The fact that the review's sub-header reads "Hitman: Absolution is a mess. The police do not expect Blood Money is involved" should say everything. IO Interactive and Square Enix may have very little to be proud of as every portion of the game is said to be bad. The review pans the game for its art style and overuse of bloom, poor story, small levels, pointless objectives (e.g. open a door), no saves, bad AI. The review also points out that the game actively encourages you to kill guards and sentries unlike previous Hitman games, which emphasized stealth over all else. Not that it matters—as many of the assassinations you perform are pre-determined cutscenes in which Agent 47 fails to kill his target, rendering all of your work pointless. Finally, the review notes that the PC port of the game was done so poorly that the game even tells you to "gently" press your mouse button, as if it were the same as an X360 controller. In addition, the performance of the game was sub-par on PC Gamer's machines, running at a sluggish 15~ FPS. For all their efforts, the game receives a score of 62 out of 100 with a verdict that reads "A passable stealth game, but one that betrays almost everything that, until now, has made Hitman great."
In those gameplay videos by the chinese guy, you'd get point deductions for killing non-targets or getting caught, so that's completely wrong.

The same guy reviewed Max Payne 3 a 55/100, and also probably didn't get paid high enough. So he didn't like the game, doesn't mean no one will. Also, the guy just did nothing but complain about how it wasn't Blood Money 1.5, and it wasn't supposed to be. I'm sure some of the new ideas are slightly clunky, and it is semi-linear in some areas but it actually has narrative this time. People forget that Hitman 2 had missions that weren't just hits and was also slightly linear.
Yeah...the dude has no clue what he's talking about, and it's evident from the Chinese guy's gameplay. There are no respawning guards, there is no "complete all objectives before you can continue" mainly because that's the level exit location. And like No_0ne said you get deductions for slaughtering guards. so this dude just lied out his ass in the review

Unofficial gameplay videos go a lot further than some guy's word.

Why are games constantly getting leaked on the Xbox? I remember when Portal 2 got leaked and some dickface ruined the ending for everyone in giant big letters. I'm getting the fuck out of here.
PCG's shit about the game trying to make you kill guards is absolute bullshit. The game takes points off your score if you do that, no way would they try to force you to do that.
Tom Francis previous review numbers: Diablo 3 - 90 Mass Effect 3 - 93 F3AR - 75 From Dust - 73 All higher than what he rated Hitman, and two of those big names got 90's but weren't that great, I wonder who pissed in his Cheerios.
