probably setting the CPU Affinity for the process to only one core in Task Manager, that tends to work for games that run "too fast" on modern hardware.
That helped a little bit with the weird physics, but Agent 47 still walks incredibly slow
Thanks to Jackald I got the Sniper Challenge now, time to get some unlocks.
The "cutscene killing" only happens in the first tutorial mission. Also, have some professional footage:

It looks good. And, really, why the hell would you cancel your pre-order because one cunt decides to say that he doesn't like the game? It seems that they gave someone who does not like the genre or series at all the opportunity to review it.
In Bulletstorm he was the main character AND the main character's friend.
He was also the zombie voice in Saints Row 3
STEVE BLUM EVERYWHERE
What I really liked was that Steve Blum was voicing the head of security and a regular guard at the same time.Doule the Blum in half the time.

I like the fact they kept the ability to choose between a variety of actions in a certain situation rather than making it all context-sensitive press-X-to-kill-everything bullshit.
The game really started out bad when it comes to marketing. How they decided to show off the blunt tutorial first and base their entire advertising around how brutal the thing is was a bad idea from their part. Thankfully they fixed the issue very fast and pretty much everything they showed afterward was what we were used to see in older hitman games.

has it dawned on you that this might just be their marketing strategy.
first the big reveal with action material that gets attention from everyone, then appease to the old fans and show them that the game is still catered to them too.

Considering how the marketing has actually had a massive turn in the middle of everything I doubt it was actually supposed to happen. All of the action directed trailers are in amazing CGI while actual gameplay trailer that show infiltration, disguises and such are made in the ingame engine.

Well, it was somewhat handy for them to get that shitload of (albeit negative) attention with the first trailers, and then afterwards showing all the good stuff to keep everyone hanging. But then again, you could also theorize that they paid Tom Francis to give a horrible review so that everyone would get back on their toes just before launch.
(The latter theory is of course a bit more far-fetched)

To be honest the original conviction-esque trailers really got me uninterested in the game at first. Even the very first gameplay we saw of the game was 47 climbing up some wall and taking cover against it, very similar to conviction again.
I know quite a lot of people who just went "welp time to look forward to another game" the instant the brutal trailers started showing up. Then I looked at a more recent trailer out of curiosity and I was glad the marketing took such a (good) turn.
It's never good to bet on negative marketing because you might as well actually lose your demographic rather than reinforce it later on
It really sucks that I'm physically able to hold the game in my hands, but I can't play it for 5 more days...

Breaking street date personally for yourself. Lmao.
This will be the longest 5 days of my life.

Yeah I love Conan's stupid video game reviews, Aquamarine wasn't a bad rating for it either.
Not bad, very good.
Also I made my 5000th post in here and noone noticed. Not even me :I

I might have noticed if I saw the post.
You must have posted when I was asleep.
On-topic; 3 days and 19 hours to go!
Well Shopto are dispatching tomorrow lunchtime, first class and being 30 minutes away from them. I should get it Saturday. Cannot wait.
I heard the preload could be anywhere between now and release, so I hope that they do the preload this weekend and GMG manages to get keys out on time.
I could probably download the game in an hour or two so it doesn't concern me that much.
Though I'm not sure if the preload being there would make me even more anxious or if it would make me less anxious.. Probably more anxious.
My cousin ordered the Xbox 360 version through me, I wonder if that'll get here before Tuesday morning (when the PC version unlocks for me) :V

I probably could too, but I like having it in my library and having it ready to the point that I just need to get it decrypted.
-snip-
You probably had some deleted anyway.
i hate how gamefly announces when they actually ship games when they actually ship them.
so instead of saying hitman is going to ship on the 18th, it just says releases on 20th. hopefully on the 18th it'll say it's been released and i have a copy coming my way..
Really sucks that I have a sniper challenge code that, for some reason, Steam says that it cannot be redeemed in my country.
